Here in my team I'm having to make a big effort to maintain my average within the competition and not get in the way.
When I signed up, I was only playing the season with a 2v2 tactic and focusing on training. But what I like about this game is the competition part, so I decided to improve my team a bit more to try to stay in my league, since my trainees are evolving rapidly.

If it were today, I would never have signed up for this competition, I would have signed up for the Europa League, because I would have had less effort to put into my team.
I always prefer to play against teams that are stronger than mine and try to beat them, and that's what keeps me going.

It's a lot of effort to organize tournaments, it's a lot of work, so I think everyone should be more grateful that we have this fun tournament to play in, because if it wasn't for the Sokker admins, we wouldn't have this.

And it's very simple, follow the rules, there's a limit to the rule. If you've exceeded it, you'll lose and that's fine.
Don't try to circumvent the rule by making substitutions in the final minutes, everyone will see it and it will only make more work for those organizing the competition.

For me it's very clear, I'm trying hard to keep my average within the limit, but if my team goes over, I'll accept defeat, after all, that's what the rule is there for.

Have more fun and create less confusion!
=)

I think you have to be wary of overcomplicating things for the person in charge. I've run tournaments on this site before and it can be a lot of work, even with the smaller competitions.
Once you start bringing in manual checks and balances because of some cheating bastard, you have to do it for everyone and it goes from being fun to a massive pain in the arse. I loved running my Tactical League in England but all it took was 1 person to start exploiting the ratings loophole and then others followed. Suddenly the 30 minutes it took me after every league game became 90+ because I had to check every game for copycats.

for me it's very simple. my team is too strong to score 62. I have no reserves to play so the only option I have is to put the poorest field player I have as goalkeeper. I don't think I'm circumventing any rules. If I win well, if I lose just as well. if I get over 62, be patient and I'll get a 3-0. next time I hope you invite me to Europe leauge

I guess sokker really wasn't built for this. You are assumed to play your best all the time. It probably should be some kind of stats baked in-game for arcades maybe. Like lowest and highest rating on match page. Or a calculation of your players to show highest and lowest possible ratings at any time on the club page.

Especially I see that arcade thread always like looking for 55-65 rating, so it should be some feature for filtering in-game but it doesn't exist. And you get the odd time where you both think you'll play your B teams but one person plays their A team and get a thrashing

The community has adapted to the flaws in the game, the devs have never adapted to the community loopholing. I was thinking about this only yesterday after England U-20 vs Portugal U-21. It wouldn't be difficult to designate games by an age range so stuff like that doesn't happen but I understand there are more important things to fix, like Training Vs Competition.

If you have a rating of 58-60, you should be thinking about signing up for the Europa League, not acting like a clown and winning in the Conference League. Common sense is needed.

we planning to make some rules so stronger teams to play in stronger tournaments still brainstorming is but the rating limit is hard to maintain is not fun to organize so we will think about this

I think a simple method is by looking at when the manager joined sokker. Unfortunately it does seem to be money related. The longer you play the more supporters, bigger stadiums, more time for transfers etc.

I know teams go through cycles but then you set-up brackets. For example this 3rd tier will be users from last 2-3 years and the matches will be around ~60 rating. If you joined sokker 10 years ago and you currently have a 60 team then this current tournament is not for you right now. Have to draw the lines somewhere...

Or something like brackets for total team value

I think the league format complicates things. If this was knockout no-one would risk going over the limit because a forfeit would see you eliminated right away.

Maybe you need a knockout round before the group stage, to get rid of these teams who don't belong at this level.

Or maybe you just say "Go over the limit twice and you're disqualified for the whole thing"

I like that, simple solution as well

i do not like preliminary eliminations, especially with so much random in first place
if we have data for several seasons we can split teams on historical performance and their desire ...

Friends, I got sick and needed to rest, so I couldn't be with you much today. The issue that comes up in the conversations is that there should be no substitutions unless there are injuries, which seems like a good idea, but I still detect irregularities in these substitutions and the team is considered to have lost 3-0. Actually, I have such an idea in my mind, but I have not talked clearly with Sviktorov yet. Actually, I think it would be better to get ideas from all of you for this. When these tournaments are over, 36+36 = 72 teams write the team names of the tournaments. The 18 teams with the highest rating participate directly in the Champions League, the 18 teams with the lowest rating directly participate in the UEFA Europa League, and the remaining 36 teams are paired with each other and play two-stage qualifying matches, home and away. The winning teams will compete in the Champions League, and the losing teams will compete in the UEFA Europa League. Say what

you need to give some wild cards for best teams in previous editions but overall can work especially if playoffs have some logical way to pair teams instead of random and 3 games if needed as current playoffs
and take care, mate!

Thank you buddy.
I want us to hold 2 tournaments this way, with no rating limit, so each team can use their full roster. Friends, I am truly grateful to all of you for taking part in this tournament. Thank you very much. What I want to do here is to ensure that everyone is in the tournament in a way that will make them most satisfied. I have such an idea friends.
