what are you training ? if mids better play a 4-5-1 and if defs play 5-3-2 but those 5 defs put in a line :)

After 6-7 weeks I decide to create a new tactic

so what do you think

2010-04-30 23:47:19
Only 3 defenders does not work in Sokker, unless you are extremely superior to your opponent. A decent, reasonably placed winger will break your neck for sure. Get one of your players from the midfield in your defense line. And make sure that it moves more to the side, otherwise your tactic is still easy to crack.

Don't move the MIDs so close to the goal - they are not good anything there. If they shoot, they will miss. Leave this to the ATTs. Place your MIDs farther away from the goal, so that they can conquer balls that get kicked away by the DEFs, so you can keep your opponent under constant pressure.

There are also be other things I would do differentl, but that is personal tactical style then, I guess. The two points mentioned, however, are valid for basically every tactic...

I play with a thin back line cos nobody in my league uses wingers.
2010-05-01 09:37:49
Alright, that is of course an exception. And as for the last matches, you also played with a line of 4 defenders. I also play rather slim 4 line tactics if my opponent does not use a real winger. But after the first team has a decent one, you will have to change your tactic against that team;-)...

in my last cup match i played with 3 defenders, vs a team that has the best NT Moldova winger, with divine tehnique.. even if i have divine defenders, i didin't tried to stop the winger. concentrated on stoping the strikers... result 2-1 for me ^^ , so using 3 defenders isn't that bad

Well, I disagree;-). But of course I don't want to convince everyone that 3 defenders are usually not enough - means more easy wins for me;-). And in your last cup match you were just lucky, 2 vs 10 shots on goal speaks a clear language;-)...

result 2-1 for me ^^

Which was a very fair result I see :P

2 Shots 10

6 ideal minutes played by my team wich gave me the win . and half of opponents shots were like miles away, and very few crosses made by the winger, so defending in 3 isn't so bad :)

ok I did some smaller analysis on your tactic out of boredom. I numbered the squares from where you started your video.

1.on squares 1-5 put your 2 strikeres 1 step higher. they will still be on your half of the pich and you might get some 1vs1 from counter attacks, if oponent defs are placed higher on your side of the pitch during corners for instance. why? because there is no offside in your half of the pitch. has worked a couple of times for me.

2. on square nr8 you should put either all of your defs or just def nr 4 at least 1 or 2 steps higher, because if oponent gets past players nr6 and 7, he will easily get in your penalty area and you are fucked.

3. on square 7 there is way too much uncovered space in square 2+3+8+9. you can avoid this by bringing your defender nr 3 one step higher to the same line with player nr 4 and 5. at the moment def nr 3 is also ruining the offside trap chance.. all the same story goes to square nr 9 aswell, where def nr 5 should be 1 step higher.

4.on squares 6 and 10 there is too much space between sq 3 and sq 8. you can avoid this by puting your both defs, who are infront of the goal, 1 step higher so all 3 defs would be on the same line-

5.on squares 11 and 15 you should lower your midfielders nr 6 and nr7 one step lower on the same line where they are situated in squares 12, 13 and 14. why? because there is again too much space between def line and mid line. pretty much the same story goes for positions on sqare 16 and on square 20

6.on squares 17, 24 and 25 there is too big gap between defs nr 4 and 5, which means that enemy can give a through pass very easily. same story goes for defs nr 3 and 4 on squares 19,21 and 22

7. get your defence back to your own side on squares 31-35 unless you don´t want your oponent to get an easy 1 vs 1 against your goalie. I would also suggest to bring some mids back so you wouldn´t be so screwed if your offence loses the ball around penalty area.

8. I would suggest to rise striker 10 or striker 11 one or two steps higher so at least one of your strikers would be on the same line with oponent defenders if oponent is playing with lower defence.

in conclusion, your tactic might work only against teams whose match avarage rating is 5+ points lower then yours. it might work also against teams who don´t use their sides at all, but all in all you will get 100% crushed with this one in your league:/ and btw what the hell are you doing in that league? this is no place for you yet:P

and ofcourse best attack is defence, at least in sokker, so you just might think about it when you are starting with your next tactic:)

done

this is no place for you yet

well I had too weak 3rd leage and I had avg. mark ~ 44 when I promoted in this league

but sokker was too bored for me so I sold my A team and buy U22 players :D to train pace :D

Anyone able to tell me whats wrong with my new 3-2-3-2 tactic?
The main changes are - I don't need defenders in my league, more offensive players should equal more goals.
- More emphasis on throw-ins, now, in offensive positions, my attacking mid (9) gets closer to the line, so he should create much more chances.
- Less players having to run 4-5 squares for no reason.

for a start get your strikers on squares 1-5 one step lower so they would be on your side of the pitch. sometimes weaker and unexperienced tacticians put their defence highly to opponents half when their team is in deep offence or having a corner. if this takes place and your defnders hit the ball away to your strikers then at the moment your strikers are in offside. but if you bring them 1 step lower to your side of the pitch there is no offside and your strikers will get an easy longrun 1vs1 against oponent goalie.
If I´m bored later, I might tell you what else is wrong with your tactic.

more offensive players should equal more goals.

nope, you can play very offensive with 541 :) If you dont have a decent recuperation, your offensive players are useless :)
2010-05-01 14:20:47
mnyeah:P but on lostoprophet case more offensive players should equal more goals. If you check lostoprophets´ players you will see that his team is a worthless piece of sh.. which means that those 11 guys very likely have no idea how or where to pass. so in theory if you have more players in offence there should be bigger possibility that one of his players will catch the pass.. ofcourse the quality of shots on goal will drop but more chances should rise slightly the scoring.
