What do you mean? Using some ideas of others to make your own tactic(s) better is just smart ;)

Today I play against best team of our league an I am using a tactic build on your advice hope it gives me some good results as I dont think I could find a better game to test this tactic. Thanks an happy Xmas

I watched the match, think you had a good change to win if only 1 or 2 crosses were just a little bit better. But a draw against the number 1 is also an ok result :)
Maybe you could have done something extra with the match-orders, don't know for sure.
And throw-ins on your half could be defended a little bit better if the number 6 or 8 would be positioned a little more to the sideline (or at least in this match).

is there any way i can devise my tactic so my players play more short passes rather than lumping the ball upfields?

for those without plus, heres the forty five minutes of my last league game. quality is not great but at least its something...

Your players are not good enough yet to make decent amount of short passes. Too low PM..be patient:-) With better pm/pass they will make more short passes in this tatic..

You should move your numbers 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 more forward when the ball is futher away from your penalty area.

i have bin playing a boring long passing game and it seems to be working for me

Anyone got some top class 3-4-3 formations i can see?? :) I have some ok myself, but need more inspiration for one with 3 defs, 4 mids (can be 3 mids 1 wing) and 3 central strikers (one of them can be wide but not wing (outstanding pass)).... 2 of the mids has finishing if needed in tactic...

Naaaah, more something like this 3-4-3 or this 3-4-3 with wingbacks also, the whole tactic, not just the tactic board... :)
