compare how many users Belgium has and how many Lietuva has...maybe u'll see the difference...no need to boast of...

so there is also no need to boast because of being in a-league.

that's not a boast..maybe in Poland where is a huge competiton it would be but not in Lietuva, almost all actively playing members are playing in A-league..

It's all about individual preferences really... some find defending important for a winger and some don't.

I agree with WilyJackal in this matter. I think that at the very top level a player has to have all of the skills to be a real star and defending skill definitely does good for a midfielder. Žlobas will become a great player though and probably make it to the Lietuva NT too, maybe already this or next season, although I don't really like mids without def :P

I'm not saying though that wingers without defense are useless but I feel like they're not really complete without it. Besides you can use such a player only high up on the wing where he doesn't have to tackle. But of course if the differences in other skills are obvious... that's why I called loop's Žlobas up to the Lietuva U21 squad although he's only 19yo and has no defense :)

Believe me I would also like to have a winger with higher defence - then I would be able to make him play near centre, or lower. though I can't afford that kind of players yet[will train myself one though in few seasons]. Maybe even Lossmann will be this winger? ;-)

but if he has high useful defending skill he is no winger anymore but a center midfielder.
