For me No, go divine pace then tecnique and striker

He will reach superdivine pace without training, so no pace training anymore.
Best thing to do now is training striker untill unearthly and training tech to divine after that.
For long term training you need to train the slowest skills at first, otherwise you will loose training.

You can train otherwise If you will sell earlier, but absolutely no pace training after reaching unearthly at 19y.

As far as I understand how training works he won't reach superdivine pace from general training.
8 seasons of training left until pace drops can happen. It will take about 4 seasons of general training to get to divine pace, but then the next 4 seasons will bring him to about 17.60-17.70.

It would only matter if striker training slows down more than technique training with increased age... which I don't think is true, I believe greater slowdown with age only affects pace training.

What makes the pace training relation to playmaker training differ from the relation of striker training to playmaker?
