The Stig is The Stig.

He was born to Mr and Mrs Stig, with crash helmet on, and was given the first name "The".

Edit : Wasn't there a rally driver called Stig Blomqvist ?

I saw a car plate here with the number S719 MAN. It was modified slightly, too, to make it more legible. Now all you have to do is find out which famous racing drivers live on the Isle of Man. Mansell used to. Wouldn't be surprised to find more living here, with it being tax exile and having no speed limits in certain places.

Nah, it doesn't. Clarkson doesn't drive whatever it was that I saw it on. He lives down the road from me.
