Nah, USA is a county with 300'000'000 people and quite independend states and the same area as europe. For them their own country is nothing less than europe is for us. So it is quite similar for us to tell where what state is to them having to name our countries in Europe. I can only name around 5 or 6 of the states correctly to where they are.. :(

When people laugh about US people not knowing where Serbia, Poland or whatever is, I always ask them about the map of Africa...works every time:)

I used to like memorizing countries, their flags and stuff when i was in middle school. Then i realized its an utterly useless skill to have.

culture never will be useless. maybe you can't remember but when you are looking a place or you see these countries you'll be never scared

I like to know the states and his capitals, I know a little of the states in the USA ( 15-20) but its really hard if you dont learn it directly...
