I had such a moment once with a set of keys (bicycle, home, shed etc keys) when unlocking my bicycle, they slipped out of my hand but luckily landed just on the edge of a kerbstone, with the city canal 2 meters below :/

Same kind of feeling, a lot happens in your head in less then a second :P
