"who decide them." = International_law
LOL, if you fail to see the nonsense of state that should allow people to decide to erase them i quit.
self determination has no need of other principles/laws of any type, or it is a false self determination.
"International law is a large body of AGREEMENT between sovereign states."
Yes, all human and state relations are agreements between people, borders are made up!
so if a state choose too not to follow an international law it is free to do it, and it is possible without any kind of legal persecution. So those you call international laws are only trash papers.
The only principle that exist in international law is effectiveness. That's the state of facts (and doctrine) the rest is newspaper's bullshits.
If one fail to understand that it is only the strenght to impose its will that deteminate the existence of a state, it is useless to discuss.
In fact you use a lot of fantasies (rationality, culture language historyetc, humanitarian law, no use of violence, etc.)
Definite NO! to self-determination of states, within already functioning states
Let's make an example Islamic state (aka ISIS) is surely a "functioning state". So it must be respected? It's border not touched and it's politics and action are only their own business?
And North korean concentration camps are only an internal affair?
For example all US military interventions, do not expand the United states territory literally, Russia fed. did - major difference.
LOL, I've a militar USA air base at 50 km from my home, I do not feel a great difference.
They won the war against my country, now they rule it. The rest is good for selling newspapers.

very wrong, i wonder what you want and you don't have..war maybe
on the contrary.
But understanding the reality of facts is necessary to understand what we can decide to want or to do.
If I believe in unicorns and international laws I'll probably end up having a useless position and being manipulated by smarter people.

romanians became an independent and sovereign state after fighting in an independence war. they were not just designed as a territory and independent state by an others. like ukraine.
ukraine is a russian province. they speak russian, think russian... feel russian. people like you buys storries genertated by strategically interrest from some other empires.
i understand well that polish nationalists are frustrated by their missed empire destiny caused by their neighbourhood(the mighty russian empire), so i must agree with you: ukraine is more then nothing.

ukraine east territories, crimeea, argument wouldn't have been valid if uncle sam wouldn't have sponsorised kosovar issue.
if they(not us) decided, at Yalta, that the borders will never change, they should keep their word.

"LOL, if you fail to see the nonsense of state that should allow people to decide to erase them i quit.
self determination has no need of other principles/laws of any type, or it is a false self determination."
I say nothing of the sort, I refer to conflicted areas of creating states withing already functioning states, its not false, and I gave a clear (principal) - no, to this sort of "self-determination" hypocrisy you seem to be advocating (possibly ironically), as it simply is not self-determination.. of all subjects, but usually driving part of the population out by force, before establishing self rule... before any chance for honest plebiscite type - self-determination. (for example driving out Ukrainian citizens from their Crimean homes). There is only few places in the world were actual self-determination would be even possible (I am not saying legitimate, but possible) and that is Jammu and Kashmir or Sudan / Somalia / Ethopia area possibly but very improbable due to the violence, or maybe Kurdistan...
The whole of Africa - African states with current borders are very vulnerable/delicate in that matter, as their borders were not determined to local tribes, but to colonies borders of the imperial past, hence all the border conflicts.
"so if a state choose too not to follow an international law it is free to do it, and it is possible without any kind of legal persecution. So those you call international laws are only trash papers.
The only principle that exist in international law is effectiveness. That's the state of facts (and doctrine) the rest is newspaper's bullshits." - that is your opinion, and it is almost exactly opposite to what I answered. :-] No, international law is, was and will be above selfish state interests, that is the whole point behind it, compromise between states, to avoid conflict.
"In fact you use a lot of fantasies (rationality, culture language historyetc, humanitarian law, no use of violence, etc.)"
- if these are fantasies to you :-], I have only sympathy. To me these are ideals of civilized society which I think most countries, most humans aspire to... that do not see only in black and white.
"Let's make an example Islamic state (aka ISIS) is surely a "functioning state". So it must be respected? It's border not touched and it's politics and action are only their own business?
And North korean concentration camps are only an internal affair?"
Again - the complete opposite to what I wrote, ISIS is nowhere near a functioning state, seriously how did you come up with that? its a military organisation, if anything that is trying to impose their own law regardless of everyone without a weapon, inside a weak (still functioning) state, states... feeding on the Kurdish aspirations to make it worse. :-] It's a weak brutal attempt to take over land within a aspiring state, that is already within few states. :-] Double or triple - no, to this kind of nonsense.
North Korea is a more complex example, because of a proxy-war which created the division... yet it is quite clear which state is on good terms with the rest of the free world that follows international law, and which is a totalitarian regime which is isolated, braking humanitarian rights and almost not participating in international relations. It is a political / state suicide which is very unfortunate and China seem to happy to feed and keep this sort of cruel "experiment" in my own opinion.
"I've a militar USA air base at 50 km from my home, I do not feel a great difference.
They won the war against my country, now they rule it. The rest is good for selling newspapers."
What does this have to do with anything? especially the literal territory expansion of US v Russia.
If you don't feel much difference - it only proves my point... (American army in Italy doesn't shoot Italians to my knowledge) as for "They won the war against my country, now they rule it." I really don't know what to answer to that apart from: who, what, when.. ? ...are you feeling well, or is it just zeitgeist type conspiracy nonsense? What proof have you got, that you did give to italian court, for a thesis that Italy is ruled by USA... !??! :-] sad.

it's not such thing as smart people, i live in a world of fear, a world inside my head, where everything is possible, nobody can't change God's will
Wow man, you seriously have issues. I would recommend a good psychiatrists for you.
And what kind of worldview do you have that being in fear of something is heaven to you?

it's not haven for me, it's haven for us, it's no other option..about the world i see, every accident is an act of justice, every disease, you should be scared too

That's a pretty fucked up worldview. In my worldview, shit happens and there's no justice. By this logic it means that people in Africa deserve to get AIDS and for people in North Korea it's their own fault they live in an authoritarian state. Even if I would accept that people living in Western Europe are better people and therefore deserve a better life, there's no way that we're so much better that we deserve an average salary of at least €2000,- a month while children in Africa deserve AIDS, war, poverty and famine. The world is not a fair place and there's no justice in the laws of nature. I'm lucky to be born in the Netherlands and that's all there is to it.
This way of thinking led to the Age of Imperialism and the colonisation of Africa in the 19th century. Because Europe was more powerful, more wealthy and more advanced than other continents, European coutries were more civilized and it was their duty to spread civilization to the other continents.
I suppose this is exactly what Putin is doing in your eyes, spreading civilization to the Russian "desert" that is the Ukraine.
