Asunto: Questionable Penalty Kick Call Debates

I thought of this idea after getting into a completely biased discussion about a PK call between my country and Mexico. Feel free to post your opinion and other questionable calls here too!

he clearly pulled down the attacker, it was just unfortunate that the attacker fell like this, thus making it look like the def didnt do anything wrong.

shocking day for the ref.

He first pulled with his right hand and he already grabs with his left hand. Then he gets his opponents right arm in his face and he grabs his shirt with his left hand.

Btw: did he just receive a pass or did he run backwards like this?

I don't understand why you would attack your own team mates, but they were fighting with each other and fighting means red. No?

Diving, attacker should get yellow card and no penalty at all.

I would decide same as referee.

dude it was a foul he clearly pulls his shirt before he falls back

looks like
1/ def pulls attacker down
2/ att gives an elbow to the def, but is it on purpose or because he is falling?

as the defender makes the first foul, i'd say it's a penalty. The attacker deserves red card if he used his elbow on purpose

The way he went down after that elbow was obviously a big show.

weird situation.. I watched it about 15 times but I couln´t decide if this was a foul from american or from the mexican.. slightly felt like a foul and a dive from mexican guy, but could´ve been just illusion..
