I spend here every summer holiday :-), I not travelling abroad.

No. I like mountains and nature and I am too lazy to travel anywhere :-).
I was never at the see and I dont will be, cos I really dont know what should I doon the beech more than few hours. Too boring for me.
So it doesnt depend on the budget :-).

Some people that I know from my village always take their holidays within one or two days cycling from my hometown. These people have not seen much of the world (if you compare it to the surface), but they really have a lot of knowledge about the region they are from. For them it is also not a case of not being able to afford going somewhere else.

I kind of like that. People like that are a dying breed. Travelling far is the norm, but there is plenty of nice stuff closeby.

I agree, but anyway you can get fun easily with a bigger budget rather than lower. The difference could be a bit but anyway it's the point. I don't need to go far to get fun from my city, but this is only a approach of quality-price

Not to mention it is great certain people never leave their country ... :/

Summer holidays in Marocko, the best.

I would go to island or city with beautiful beaches.

I still had to say that I like spring and summer holidays as the best one and that I like summer places in Slovakia.
But if there is nice winter (I mean -5/0 celsius and a lot of snow (10-20cm and more)) it is really wonderful have fun also in winter. And of course the best place is High Tatras I suppose.


But now, when we have +5/+10 Celsius and every snow is melting fast to huge ugly mud I hate winter and love only summer or spring :-)

I think most of us will say that the spring is winning, wont we?
