Stadium question.

In Italy we are discussing this kind of bug.

I play a friendly match at my stadium.
Home income: 50k
Away income: 50K

I am the Home, I should pay 30k for repair my stadium, so..

Home income: 20k
Away income: 50k

Whaaaat????

Stevie para minja
ok i gotta say that this stadium downgrade is farcical

i just repaired loads of seast and now i have another 1500 ?? , this is stupid and should be removed asap !

what good is it doing for the game ?
what is the point of it ?
why is it even in there ?
when is there gonna be a repair all option if its here to stay?

just when you start to understand they decide to baffle you even more with stupid additions lol

Because that's the way it works in real world. You think that at Santiago Bernabeu, before game with some weak team they think "Ok, let's not clean and repair 5k benches, there won't be enough people anyway to fill whole stadium so why bother"? No, they repair and clean each and every bench and seat :)

You are wrong. It seems you didnt understand what I said. Your example is wrong. A Real Madrid match is not a good example, also its most likely that a Real Madrid match will always be full but thats not the case here. This implementation could be very useful for teams that have big stadiums but no longer fill their stadiums, or teams that built many seats in X section and currently dont have enough spectators to fill that particular section, so you can choose not to repair some seats and keep it that way for 1 or 2 seasons until you are sure you can fill those spots.

Example: keeping the number of degraded seats at X section at 1000 number for example, so if you have 3000 seats but you always fill no more than 1800 or 2000, you can choose not to repair 1000 seats, if the degradation increases to 1400 seats, then just repair 400 and always leave 1000 unrepair until you are sure you can fill them.

Also this is realistic and it is done in real life like this. Dont come and bring examples about Real Madrid, Barcelona or Manchester United, etc, because those teams are the top of the top, the very elite, they belong to the 0,0001% of the teams in the world. In real life there are millions of teams and hundred of thousands with stadiums and most of them choose not to repair some seats if they know their stadiums dont get filled completely. They only repair them for special events or international competitions. This is what happens in real life with like 95% of the teams of the world.

You need to refresh the stadium page (click on the stadium option in the left menu), because they get repaired but since it is a new implementation, it is a bit bugged, so as soon as you click in "accept", refresh the page and you wont see the degraded seats number again.

I think this is a good implementation that balances the cheapness of building the stadium, also it is realistic and very useful for the reasons explained before. I actually think this way is better than the way sokker and other games do it. It is also realistic.

I don't play long enough to have very good players, but it's a matter of time - like in every game...

In sokker it was different. It was hard to build the stadium, especially at the beginning. In general UM seems nice, but much too easy...

You think its easy because you havent played against the best teams yet ;)

Hello I just built an accademy today and recruited 2 international scouts

but I want to fire the one I have already but it seems I can't because there only is the button confirm
2011-04-27 16:40:12
Theres a "fire" option below the shadowy head of the scout.

Click on the youth academy, then click on scouts, there you should see the "fire" option below the shadowy heads.

Jamp , ive just repaired the seats at the weekend and now it wants me to repair ANOTHER 1500

that seems to me that after every game you need to repair over 1000 seats ? pointless and un needed my friend

You missed my point. I'm not saying that winning trophies is easy - it's equally hard in every game, depending on the number of user - it's obvious, right? :)

My point was that everything other than winning is easy. Stadium - 50k in first season after joining the game? no problem. youth school - no problem. top class coach - no problem. And it is bad. If building another 5k of stadium is nothing special then it doesn't give you pleasure. When it's hard to achieve something - you feel good after you reach it. When it's easy and everyone can do it - what's the point?

As for the stadium - my local team plays in 3rd league [though a couple of years ago they've won Polish Cup and Polish Supercup] and there is no such thing as unrepaired seats. I remember one seat was demolished by some idiot, 2 weeks later there was a new seat on that place.

Yeah I have it for the 2 international scouts I just hired but I don't have it for the national scout

for the national scout I only have the option confirm. But if I confirm him to his job then I'll have to pay a fee to fire him.
2011-04-27 17:19:21
Yes, it works that way. Had the same thing.

Who knows, maybe i'll get an answer one day :

I may reformulate my question af this morning :

I see today that i have to repair all my seats (i did it last time the same day). How long in days it takes to see my number of seats going down if i decided not to repair or fi i just forget to do the action ?

Btw, i have another question : I just noticed that i repaired a tribune twice thus it gives into the lign linked to the tribune a -444... Does it mean that when it will need to repair next time, i will not have to do this because of "money" already put in it ?

steve,

What is your 2 week profit like? your last match you made 530k. your bi-weekly costs for stadium probably around 180k (2 weeks), and repairs maybe 30k (you say you need to fix ~1000, majority is behind goal and cheap). fix my numbers if they are off, but thats still a good deal

before the changes weekly stadium cost was much higher, i feel like everyone is just overreacting because it pains them to actually have to manually pay money to fix the seats rather than it happening automatically
2011-04-27 18:17:58
Exactly, thats why I think its still too cheap. The repair costs should be higher but thats just my opinion. Overall I think it was a good and useful implementation.

I have just bought this GK. he cost me 1 150 000 UM$ . R or B ?
