The 'gay' thing? I don't know why I wrote gay instead of game :p

All in all, I'm saying the same as you - most of things are too cheap. The biggest problem is that you cannot change it now, for example suddenly make the stadium expanditure more costly because many people already have extremely big stadiums and new users won't be able to reach them in sensible time...

well at one point if you decide to change the stadium upgrade system you can reset all stadiums to the amount of stands there was at the start(announce it a few months before though)

and you can even refund the money it costed to build them for the older teams and multiply by 10 the amount it would cost to build new seats

the perfect talent is 0.4

I guess that's why many think a reset at a later point would be useful. I agree with the game being much too easy. There's really no challenge yet.

"the perfect talent is 0.4"

i have never seen that talent!
did you have a screenshot of 0.4?

A reset would kill the game. I dont know who comes up with this crazy reset idea. The game is good as it is. Also it is a contradiction to say that theres no challenge and thats why it needs to be reseted. The real challenge comes by playing against other teams and trying to reach the highest division and winning the cup. Have any of you done that?, no?, I didnt think so.

You guys think sokker, hattrick and all those games started with the current rules they have right now?, no they didnt. All games that start from scratch have to have a lot of things changed in the first years and they get stable later on after a few years, so enough of this crazy reset idea.

If the game is reseted most active users (those who really play the game, not those who login once every 3 weeks or such) would quit because they would be pissed off to see years of effort deleted (I would be pissed too).

I will repeat my question again, have any of you (the 2 guys saying that theres no challenge in this game, er1k and borkos) won the first division and the cup?.

The thing is, that when there is only 1 challenge then it becomes boring very fast. And with low number of users even winning the league is boring - believe me, I was 4 times in a row champion in manager-mania in Poland. Boring as hell.

Training in this game is easy. Managing finances is easy. Building big stadium is easy. Managing to find and hire awesome coaches is easy.

The only part that actually needs any involvement is making the tactic. 1 thing. Extremely interesting game :)

this game is 'easy' says the guy who is 3-3 in C league =P

You don't understand what I'm saying or you just act like that?

hmm, a bit the system got changed. from the start it was 0.1-0.4 now, here is the answer from admin:

It's different the concept of talent and that of pop.
A player can have a talent between 2 and 5, this means that with 2 he can pop of one skill in 2 training sessions (with trainer at 20, if he is very young and his kill is at low level).
The pop it's the increase in every session that depends from his talent but keep in mind that the trainer in youth school it's not a 20 skills.
At the moment I think that for a player with talent 2 should be 0,3, 0,3, 0,3 ...... 0,3 but in the past was more because the talent of the player could be lower than 2.

i dont think easy is the right term to use

what i mean is, were all on a level playing field. anything 'easy' for you is easy for everyone else. we ultimately all compete against each other, not the system, so easiness cancels itself out and it will be hard to climb to the top of the rankings

i would call it more 'fast-paced', and imo that makes it even harder because if you don't figure the game out fast you will be left behind

The competition itself is as hard and as easy as in every other online football manager. The same amount of users wins, the same amount of users loses, the same amount of users achieves a trophy each season. The only difference in easy-hard in this aspect is the number of users.

I will try a different approach.

What I'm trying to tell you, is that this game gives you only one challenge, while other games give you more challenges. As an example, the most challenging thing for some users in sokker once was training a 3x divine striker. It took years and was really hard, but then greg&co changed something in the youth school and suddenly it became very easy to make yourself a 3x divine and it wasn't a challenge anymore.

Points is, the more challenges you have in a game - the better the game. For the moment UM has only one challenge, the one that is omnipresent in manager games.
