Why, ERVERY TIME I say something you have to turn it into something else.
Yeh, why would that be ... I assume this was your retorical question???
what perception you have of italian situation?
The health care was (or maybe still is) a mess, just as the news showed us and why Italian doctors and nurses warned us to take corona very seriously (also shown by the news). Nothing was an attack on Italy, just facts as everyone could see on different media, not only in the Netherland but worldwide.
And about that attacking the Netherlands by Italian media, apparently that is an attack and a form of propaganda with a clear (political) goal; spreading hate and pissing off Italians. I don't know why Italian media isn't tellng an objectiv story, strange, but they will have their personal reasons. Ofcourse this is bad journalism. And pretty dumb, money still won't come and with enough hate the tourists will go somewhere else when traveling is (more) save again, another billions of euros less income.
In the Dutch news they tell us what the situation is, the southern countries are not happy because the nothern countries won't give in to their demands, while there are other sollutions for each individual country without making nothern countries responsible for their new debts. Altough the Netherlands agreed to put 1 billion euro in the European corona fund. money the Netherlands also has to loan. And the ECB is buying bonds, so more help for countries. But nothing hatefull or bashing the south, just simple facts to inform us, that is the job of journalists and media.
So the Italian news about the Netherlands is really a 100% different situation as the Italian corona news in the Netherlands. Ofcourse now and then some personal opinion of the journalist can be seen, but overall the Dutch news is objective and not some political instrument to rally the people and spread hate and propaganda. The comment section below articles on some websites is used for that, mostly by intolerant simple minded or dumb people, but that is not media itself. I try to avoid those comments, because when I read that crap my opinion of my own country drops a number of points :/
But even then, what do I care what Italians think of the Netherlands? I couldn't care less.
I have a pretty good life, whatever the southern countries think of us. Okay I have to work till the age of 67 instead of 65, and VAT is increased after the crisis, low VAT is 9% (was 6%) and high VAT is 21% (was 19%), but we all pay a bit to undo the crisis and restore the economy. Unpopulair policial choises, but they had to be made. Other countries should do the same, but I think in too many countries the politicians are more worried about keeping their jobs instead of the well being of the entire county.
But hee, "In a democracy, the people end up with the government and leaders they deserve" Joseph De Maistre
anyway, now you have the long answer.

About the question:
The health care was (or maybe still is) a mess
that's journalism! taking a part for the whole!
anyway there is a partial true in this. There was some place with this problem.
So the Italian news about the Netherlands is really a 100% different situation as the Italian corona news in the Netherlands
I really doubt about it. And reading your post about what you think to know of economics and EU "help" makes makes me think you are (exactly as I am) a fish in a bowl that believe to know he sea because someone told him.
In the Dutch news they tell us what the situation is
the whole point is: how do you know?
Did you check the source of this?

Guys, if EU wants to remain a power and have prosperity it must stay united. Any of it's countries alone is fucking desert for USA, China, Russia or even Brazil. Big fish eats the small fish. This kind of mentality doesn't help at all. We have to stay united, fuck stupid news and try to get out of this economical mess.
After your post I now know it is a completely different situation if Italian media is presenting you people some underbelly feeling in an attempt to form your opinion so you don't have to do it yourself anymore, instead of objective facts. If you think Dutch media is like that, you are absolutely wrong.
Yes, we also have this media. Mostly pseudo-media, rewriting news items in a way the readers are pushed to believe their underbelly feelings of hate. Ofcourse often xenophobia, intolerance and misplaced nationalism is spread, but also other news subjects are misused to tell their own story. But also a few official media do this, they do this less, but you can see and/or feel the intentions. I don't watch and read news or 'news' from these broadcasters and newspaper/website. The few times I did watch or read it, I got that feeling/thinking of 'what the F*** are they trying to do? how stupid do they think I am falling for that?!'
And how do I know something is true (or mostly true), because not only Dutch news is telling the story, and common sence. Yes, not all stories give us the complete picture, but at least they try. A good dose of scepticism is fine and keeps people sharp, getting paranoid is not. And as I wrote already in different words, Dutch media has nothing to gain by bashing other countries. Why would they bash for example Italy?? Or maybe China, because some companies have send millions of failing face masks? Would not make sence. Most people watch and/or read the news to get informed.
