ROFL and +1
I guess we won't have large masses of Greek economic refugees yet. :)

Slovakia is borrowing money to Greece and they're getting paid interest on them.

And of course you don't get interest on guarantees. It's because the money is still in your banks, not in Greek banks.

In some countries they even pay you €2k/month to read RT and post in Sokker full time.

Only 2000€, not leaving my chair for that :p

I can see that you used to live from foreing money...

Technically you're also living on foreign money. Slovakia is a net recipient from the EU. That means that you get more money every year than you pay.

let's say you have a store or an office

instead of having an 8-hour working person with normal minimum wage, you have 2 in 4 hour part-time jobs
money you spend are about the same and some studies suggest that prodactivity is bigger

the problem here is that you have only one person,in 4 hour part-time working for 8 hours and getting paid for 4 hours

inb4 rumpil : stop crying you lazy greeks,no more money for souvlaki and ouzo, viva free market

we export very high skilled economic refugees,i saw an article last month that we have ~6000 doctors in Germany

till the day we will have to pay 1,7mld € without any interests.. I agree. But as you can see after this election this risk is very probably.

Forget the rule-following Netherlands, I'm talking about the former socialist block, Balkans, and Western countries with lots of illegal and easily exploitable immigrants. It's not like everybody pays illegally, but there are some industries, where you have to, or you can shut down your enterprise. Building industry is usually notorious about illegal salaries.

This obviously happens in the Netherlands as well, but is on a completely different level compared to eastern Europe and Greece, but probably on a similar level compared to other countries in western Europe.

If Greece decides not to pay back the loans, the amount of money loaned is at risk, not the money guaranteed.
2015-01-26 23:23:14
Thanks.

It's not like I have much else to do right now, as you can see.
2015-01-26 23:24:40
by the way,is he making all that fuss about 1,7 million euro or 1,7 billion euro?
2015-01-26 23:25:07
No loans, just project money and Slovakia didnt think it out, it is EU home made plan :-).
And dont be sure if we are just net recipeint, cos a lot of that money from EU fonds which belong to us could not be used cos there are another problems.

2007 – 2013 we should get 11,3 mld€
but reality was that we got just 8,64€ mld€

we paid to EU 3,34 mld

so the net profit is just 5,3mld€

but, for that 8,64mld€ we had to pay (co-financing) also our own money 5% or 20% so our net profit is lower.
Anyway, that money are used to stupid actions like alternative energy or human rights or bad targeted tourism but we need for decades highways so some company can go here and bring jobs to our country and we can to use this super money for this.

So... if we could stop paying to EU and did not get money from EU, we would have less money but more highways cos we know much better than EU what our country needs.

So I am not sure what is "net profit" for slovakia.

people who want have twice minimal salary as we have can not understand money.
Money is something what slovaks need to earn and money for you is something what you need to borrow and never paid back :-)

ok, I suppose I tell you everything what I need so bye :-D.
2015-01-26 23:31:32
never paid back

YOU JUST SAID THAT YOU HAD A NET PROFIT FROM US
