it seems you cant read english properly...i dodnt ask about any socialist party, but about that "total strikes in Spain" you asked about..

In your socialist spain, just as in leftwing Greece, it is very normal for the whole country to be on strike....that is, if trains and busses not go, nobody goes...and millions come to demonstrate...
All very nice in a country that has 20% unemployment...why not start working?
2011-10-24 19:34:26
common sense fail

Is just shows how succesfull capitalism copies what real people real humans tent to do; work together and built up lives!

really ? capitalism is about competing not working together and thats why humanity is doomed ...

And that is just utter bullshit from someone who obviously doesn't know what capitalism is or someone who just ignores what capitalism is (although knowing what it is).

Rubinho is right here.
If you do not like competition you do not like life or sports or to work for your income.
That seems to be an "illness" one can see a lot in people of oocupy movements or other leftwing believes.

ther eis a big difference between thinking that all people are the same or have the same rights...and thinking that all people should get the same piece of cake..
All of those letwingers like their own stuff so much, since they got it "for free"...but if you ask them to share with all poor people in the world so there is only two dollars left for them, they do not like that.
Socialist fall for "free" or "cheap" but do not have a clue what that means...
example; dutch socialists were told by the labout party to vote for them, as they would make Schoolbooks "free".....that is so cool, because poor people would automatically win more than rich people...and it has ideology in it.
Thing is; someone HAS to pay these books; the government....and government, other than socialists think, has no monet from itself....it has to be paid first in taxes!
And what do we see i big government goes out and wants to buy all the book for schools?
the prizes go up and up...as there is no choice no competition and the buyers and socialists think " oh, does notmatter thak costs 200 euro a piece, it is all paid for by the governent"...
same story with collectivism in healthcare....doctors and hospitals write their bills....don't you worry madam, it is al or free"

one interesting example to this theme...

there is programmer who earn a lot of money, but he was just born with high intelligence and use it. Maybe he is really lazy at work, but he can work just 2-3 hours and he is able earn nice money.

than, there is man in kitchen, he is making small job, maybe tiding in restaurant and in kitchen. He was born with not high intelligence so this job is really suitable for him, but he earn funny money. He like his job, he is hardworking and simple, but he still earn shit.

In capitalism, this is ok, one has lucky, second one has unlucky. No matter that first man is lazy at work and second one is not.

In communism, both will have chance to have cheap flat in block of flats, free medical healthcare and so. That first man will not have so much luxuries, because of his high salary, because he will be taxed by system. But that skills, that intelligence is not something what he get himself, he just borned with IQ and use it for suitable job.

So why is idea of communism bad ? There is problem that communism is very easy abused ! but this is second problem. First is idea of system second are problems with its realization.

In communism, [cut] he will be taxed by system

OMG!!! you don't even know what you're talking about..

By the way,
it'a always the same, people think about capitalim, socialism and communism without any knowlegde of theories, so they go down to examples..
but when they think to this examples they fail to see them clearly ..
the example of public school book history by mitch, a good idea used in USA already, condemned to be "socialist" (why the hell!?!?!)
the failure of wich is in dutch realization!

But, you know, when someone want to see something, he'll see it anyway, it exist or not!

Capitalism is based on the fact that things that are relatively rare (for instance high IQ) are more expensive. It doesn't matter if you are smart and lazy or if you are stupid but hard-working. What they pay you for is what the result of your work is. If only few people can do your job, you'll be paid well. If almost everyone can do your job, you'll be paid a lot less. And that is a right system in my opinion.

in first example you have also this possible situation:
- that poor man will kill himself because he has financial problems
- that poor man will kill people around just because he get crazy of his salary

in second example we have negatives too:
- first man will be lazy to work harder and use his great brain, because he is not motivated enough
- first man can take less paid job (because there is not so big difference between high and less paid jobs) and he can make what he likes and waste his talent
