most of the players play in Europe and earn shitloads of money, and i`m talking about players like eto`o, alex song, nonkeu, chedjou or webo...it should be an honour to play for your country at a final tournment, you shouldn`t put the problem this way
i personally don`t see any of cameroon`s players starving of hunger, so it`s stupid from their part

Lol, I think there was something similar with Togo back in 2006.
their football association gets shitload of money for the world cup and it should be properly divided with the players
it may be so, but afterall this conflict should have been solved months ago, not 5 days before the world cup...irresponsabile from both sides, could have been avoided with a pre-contract
You think that swedish players for example, would not go to the WC for free, in an instant? Playing there is not only an honour, but also a great opportunity to promote yourself in just a couple of matches. You have the chance to get a huge contract, after playing well in just one match, cause all the world is watching you.
lol
all players get money for EVERY national game...for every point in qualifications, for every achievement in tournaments etc.
from what I've read, Football Association of Cameroon wants to keep 94% of Fifa money and give only 6% to the players

It's unfair, i agree. But still, you really think these guys are after the money?
Aurélien Chedjou - 2.2mil euros per year
Nicolas N'Koulou - 1.8mil euros
Joel Matip - 1.5mil euros
Alex Song - 5mil euros
Samuel Eto'o - 8mil euros
How much would they get from the FA? 50k? 100k?

200k euro each, at least
it doesn't matter if it is 5, 50 or 500...the FA wants to take all the money to themselves and players disagree with that

corruption is everywhere, and greed, especially in africa...they should prove themselves better than their sick system and play anyway
that`s what i would do if i were them...as marcozea said before, the WC it`s a great chance to prove yourself and maybe you will get a better contract from another team, and of course the personal fulfilment

they will play anyway, they always do
but they have to fight for the money - if you let thieves steal the money, they will steal it all the time
sorry, but your approach is very weak and servile...

I disagree, the players who earn alot of money should support the players who do not. So they all have to take the same stand. Else the weaker players will just be pushed a side.
servile?
i`m talking about playing for your country and for yourself, not for the Cameroon FA for f sake, as i said before, they should have solved this situation long ago...

and they WILL play. they ALWAYS play.
the dividing of money is a normal problem in African countries because their FA's don't do much, but want to take as much money as possible.
you're saying that Etoo is rich - yeah, he is. But is Fedjou, playing in Coton Sport, rich? Or Olinga from Zulte Waregem, is he rich? I don't think so, for him the 200k euro is a lot.
And he DESERVES it for qualifying to World Cup.

world wide money is divided unfair or 'unfair', even with football ;)
