Asunto: Brasil 2014

I agree, maybe 2:1 for Brasil, but penalty baaaaah the referee was joked with us, nonexistent please :(((((

Strange. While certainly unlucky, to me seemed Pletikosa among best if not best player. He didnt make any mistake while saved one goal from start, nearly saved penalty.

Otherwise Japanese Referee pushed home team way too much. Yes it would be dissapointment for Brasil to lose and there should be some consequences in Brasil, but for world its certainly not good start of WC.

not even 2-1, (1-1 is correct result) because before the third brasil-goal was a foul of brasilian player to croatian player (referee did not whistle)

The croatian player have to pass little bit earlier, but he hold the ball. Then brasilian player foul, and pass to oscar. Then comes the counter goal.

Maybe even the second goal of Croatia would be correct (a croatian player a bit jumping in direction to brasilian goalkeeper, but not touch very much.

He touched the ball with a header, then comes goal for Croatia (would 2-2)
But this decision it might be ok. Because it was in 5 meter area. It is the area of Goalkeeper.
---

All in all:
The penalty and the foul before the 3-1 were not correct.
So correct result is: 1-1

And if stay 1-1 (no penalty), the team of Croatia did not must open such the defence, and try to attack, and attack.

Than Croatia will not receife many counter attacks (like it was at the situation of 1-2).
It will continue like the fist 30 minutes. pressing of Croatia, and Brasil with rare ideas.
And (maybe) 1-1 at the end.

It is more easy (for brasil) to counter attack against only 3 croatian defenders (because the rest of croats was in offence)

And very difficult for brasil to attack against two excellent pressing-lines of croatia (10 player behind the ball).

So the penalty (wich never was) made a big difference, and decides the match.
because was only lillte rest time to play.

Maybe the government had something into this. The elections for president will happen after the world cup.

"One more time we kick ass", "one more time we show that we are the best of the world", and the fucktards brazilians forgets about the real problems and keep our actual president in power (a terrible, terrible, terrible president).

I hope that Argentina or Germany kicks brazilians asses :)

The thing is, Brasil was better than Croatia throughout the match, even when losing 1-0. So yes, the ref made a number of mistakes in favor of Brasil, but it's impossible to know what would have happened without them. Hence, I don't see in which sense 1-1 would be "correct".

Din0 para Don Enzo
Way more correct than 3:1 ;)

@Red: He did one good save as far as I recall. The first and last goal, he should've really stopped, imo.

@ Enzo: I'm really not pro-Croatia, but I also thought that Brasil was allowed more during the game. If a Brazilian player went to ground, it was almost always a fault, if a Croatian player went to ground, almost never. The referee didn't just help a little, he was very decisive for the match. Brasil was a bit better, though, although they did have to attack, while Croatia could lay back and watch with the scorelines of 0-1 and 1-1.

Brasil always have luck with their referee. Belgians still remember prendergast and thans already 12 years ago

honestly, we (Croatia) played horrible first half (especially between 0:1 and 1:1) but I think that we were quite an equal opponent in second once our players realize that there is not much to fear about Brasil squad. Penalty definitely had a huge influence on the game, we were just starting to make some pressure on Brasil last line and forcing them to start playing long balls due lack of options when building attacks. To bad our coach made changes a bit to late, we had few players who really weren't at their best Yesterday. Also, it's quite clear that Mandjukic is miles ahead of other attackers we had at our disposal and his absence was definitely a big problem for our coach.

I didn't rate Brasil chances high even before the start of the Championship, now I'm even more convinced that it would be extremely hard for them to win the trophy (unless referees keep giving them hilarious penalties). Lack of idea is just to obvious in their team, i liked how much Neymar was moving around just to get the ball and Oscar/Hulk/Willian/Bernard/Hernanes are all strong in 1 vs 1 situations but I don't think that team which is insisting on individual effort so much can make it to the end.

@ about referee
it's no big deal, you are not used to

for romania and romanian teams it's something natural

the referee extend the game until napoli scores, 8 minutes

a little exemple, steaua -napoli 3-3

Prendergast... if I ever come across that man he will not be happy...

There was an additional time of 6 minutes (which is a lot, but which probably had its reasons). He scored after 6'53" into additional time. If there is a small injury and a substitution, this is not exagerated.
2014-06-13 12:21:10
additional time was 4 minutes
2014-06-13 12:34:08
there were 2 subs

1 sub = +30seconds to added time

I'd rather blame Fred for his very unfair behaviour. I think the Referee simply was fooled. Fred should be banned for about 2 games imho. If this kind of punishment would be introduced systematically, this unfair behaviour, that is a shame for the game would happen less often.
