I'd rather blame Fred for his very unfair behaviour. I think the Referee simply was fooled. Fred should be banned for about 2 games imho. If this kind of punishment would be introduced systematically, this unfair behaviour, that is a shame for the game would happen less often.

Completely agree with this statement. All schwalbes/unfair play should be punished based on video footage.

Croatia played a smart football last night, in fact, they were the only team who used their brains. Brazil just threw the ball directly towards the strikers, i didnt see any comprehensive attack situation there, it was either Oscar on the flank, or some loose ball cannoned by the defenders up and away. But imagine the huge pressure on them, first game of the tournament, played at home soil, everytime a brazilian touched the ball, the crowd went nuts. Guess its truly hard to play in those conditions, i expect that in the following games they will relax a bit more, cause what they've did last night was kinda unimpressive. And i hope Croatia will make it through, its nice to watch their playing style, imo they have huge potential.
