doesn`t mean it`s normal :)
yes it does, I already explained why
I'm not saying it is in accordance with football rules
I'm saying that it is normal and nobody cares about it

Refere? Awful.
-Red card not given to Balotelli (2nd yellow for using his hand)
-Penalty against Cavani.
-Red card for Chiellini for allowing Suarez to bite him.
OMG. Ugly Uruguayans against beautiful Italians... life is not fair.
Do you have some spare tkts for next Saturday against Colombia? We'll need a few.

if you insult another player just to piss him off or because you are frustrated for something, it shows how little respect you have for that person and for this sport and you must be punished according to the rules...
you don't understand what I'm writing, I will end this discussion know, because it is pointless
I know what you are saying. You meant "usual" not "normal".
i understand perfectly...you said it is normal to do this, just because you see this in a lot of matches
let me tell you something, not all things you see on a football pitch are according to the rules, and many aren`t punished by the ref from many reasons, he didn`t see it, he doesn`t want to unballance the game, and so on...
maybe it`s normal in your country, but i don`t watch 3`rd hand football...

I meant normal:)
If something is generally accepted and practiced by majority, then it is normal.

mate, i relate the word normal with legal or fair, so you contradict yourself in the last but one message...
You can also relate the world normal with robocop and saturn, it is your problem. Please check the definition of normal.

The replay you posted clearly shows the Ivory Coast player fouling Samaras as he tries to shoot. That's penalty.
On the Suárez issue, they've shown different angles now and you can see the bite. So now I'm certain :P
I don't know what FIFA will do, though. In 1994, Leonardo elbowed Tab Ramos, got sent off, and was suspended for the rest of the tournament (4 matches). However, one round later Tassotti elbowed Luis Enrique, but the ref didn't see it so no red card nor mention in the report. FIFA took no action.
Things have changed since then, especially at lower (national/continental levels), so there may be a sanction even without a red card. But don't count on FIFA too much :P
Now, from Uruguay's point of view: what the hell was Suárez doing? Even though he didn't have his day today, it will obviously be more difficult for Uruguay without him. It was very hard to get away with that. And, on top of it, there wasn't really much to win from such an action. Really mindless.
I think Cavani is not as "explosive" as Suárez, but he's much more stable and cold-blooded, so he may end up being more decisive for Uruguay...

actually Tassotti was banned for 8 matches:)

I'm not sure
if Samaras wouldn't move, then there would be no contact
Samaras was the one who 'made' the contact, he kicked Sio...
Sio was between the ball and Samaras and he has every right to do so...

although it might be a penalty if Sio stretched his leg intentionally...but if he was running in a normal way = no penalty for me
So, I remebered it all wrong :P
That only makes things worse for Suárez I guess...

The majoruty of fouls wouldn't end up in contact if the fouled player stayed still :P Putting your leg in the opponent's trajectory is foul...
I guess you mean he changed his trajectory so as to collide with Sio. But it doesn't seem so to me, I think he was just shooting and a leg got between his foot and the ball. Maybe it is a bit subject to interpretation, but I'd say it's a perfectly valid decision by the reff.

it is reasonable, but let's imagine a situation
there is a ball and between the ball and you is an opponent
you try to striker the ball, but since there is a defender there, you kick him
it should also be a foul and penalty, right? :P
So, I remebered it all wrong :P

from what I've read, he might face a ban up to 24 national games / 2 years ban.
that would be too drastic I think, imo he will get 8-10 at most.
