He has the ball and he cannot vanish into thin air once he punched the ball away. This is not a fault, simple as that. Every keeper jumps with one leg in front of the other and there was no intent to hurt Higuain. Both of the reverse angles in your film don't show the whole situation from the right angle.
If you would've argued that Höwedes deserved a red card for his yellow-card-tackle, then I'd agree. Also Aguero and Mascherano deserved a red card, but not Neuer...

I don't know why people are moaning about Argentina's game - they did a great job with their fast counter attacks. It was an entertaining match. Argentina even had the better scoring chances: Higuain, Messi, Palacio all alone in front of the goal. A win would not have been stolen. But congrats to Germany, they deserved it as well and probably played a better tournament overall.
