I don't think I will watch Cote D'Ivore vs Japan :P
2014-05-14 01:00:07
yeah, I think almost nobody will watch it in Europe:P

well, these are better hours than the 2002 Korea/Japan :p

18/21 is best possible hour

22...well, a bit late to watch it in the city during the week

The Netherland 2x 18.00h and 1x 21.00h, I'm not complaining :) Indeed great to watch matches. No matches during worktime or in the middle of the night.

+1 I like Dutch game times :-) unless there is not my country, you know, I'm big fan of your NT ;-)

this time, we in south east asia would stay all night if we want to watch the world cup matches as the game starts playing from 23h00 - 5h00

:/
2014-05-17 12:50:53
There might be a big run on night-watchman jobs then :D

I remember the 2002 World Cup Korea/Japan

games at ~12-13....when people were in school/work

:(
2014-05-17 13:44:02
That was great. Watching the football games in class or with the whole school during lunch break :-)

@igo batra

At World Cup are only are 5h difference Europe to Brasil
(if we have european winter: only 3h difference).

It is not the same the cup-machtes in South Corea/Japan, it is better :-)

Beginning of matches are

- 13:00 Brasil (18:00 Europa)
- 15:00 Brasil (20:00 Europa)
- 18:00 Brasil (23:00 Europa)

Everybody can work/study/school, and at the evening watch the matches :-)

I thought the hours in Europe were 18-22-24 (and one at 3 am)?
2014-05-17 15:31:54
I have contact with Brasil since more than 7 years, in european winter here, are 3h difference to Brasil. At european summer are 5h difference (Brasil winter).

Maximum time-difference between Europe and Brasil are 5 hours

3h european winter
4h (for some weeks during time changing at march and october)
5h at european summer

So enjoy the matches :-)
(18:00, 20:00, 23:00)

16:00 local -> 22:00 CET (11 matches)

ok your're right, in the north of brasil (near amazonas) 6h difference.
But nearly all matches are before 24:00 CET (6 at 24h), but only 5 matches are late at night after midnight.

I was talking about maior part of match-beginnings in Brasil,
in relation to World-Cup to South Corea/Japan

Brasil

64 matches (all)
-------------------
4 matches >01:00 CET
1 match >03:00 CET

The rest is before.

So enjoy the matches :-)
