Fifa put the time according to europe. I wanna see whats gonna happen when 2 teams play at 13:00h in a 40° sun. Loll!

Will be not strange if somone die in these matches. Actually i am hoping it. We lose milions and milions building arenas and now fifa come here to make one event to europe and pay no tax. Brazil, what the clown you are, what poor colony.

Welcome to the world of FIFA.

Hosting the world events cost a lot of money and the question is if it's all worth it.
2014-05-26 10:39:15
Even in Switzerland they pay hardly any taxes because they are registered as "non-profit oriented association" :D:D
2014-05-27 14:02:30
don`t forget about the 94` WC, from USA...the matches were also played at 1-2 in the noon, at 40 degrees
probably the european televisions paid a lot of money to broadcast the matches..

and actually,a good percent of the cost came from sponsors and you have to realise this is a good thing for you: better infrastructure, roads, highways, stadiums, a lot of tourists, therefore more money for the hotels, bars, and of course the money from VTA that comes from all these services and products
and better infrastructure and transportation sistem means more investors for Brasil...

Don Enzo para spin
and actually,a good percent of the cost came from sponsors and you have to realise this is a good thing for you:

There is no evidence around the whole world of hosting WC/Olympic Games/etc being particularly good for the host. All the existing scientific literature on the subject found either no effect or negative effects for the host country.

Italy team is not happy to play at 13:00. We'we lose the 1994 final because our player was completely destroyed after 5 matches played at noon with 42°...
Organize a WorlCup is not compulsory... Brazil has decided it.
Convey my greetings to Cesare Battisti...

I doubt it will come back to population. Even the basic structure for the event is not totally finished.

And there is a strong movement of some people that want to stop the world cup.

You see, I heard that seats that warms itself had been bought to the stadiums, while in the SUS (our public health system) there is not enough gurneys.

You really think a World Cup is a good thing for Brazil? I hope that Brazil loose and every brazilian that support the event go f*** himself.

I think something will happen duing this World cup... Brasilian people can't stay in silence for this abuse
2014-06-07 12:55:59
You can better hope the cost of this World Cup is worth every cent, so it isn't all money thrown away for a very expensive political show ... :/
2014-06-07 16:55:43
The money from the tickets will be given to FIFA.

The question is: if there was money to build those stadium and improve the structure of the cities to receive a World Cup, why this money was not used before to improve schools and hospitals?
2014-06-07 18:51:26
Beacuse all politicians are greedy motherfuckers not giving a shit about other people.
Not all,but 99,9% are.

most of the players play in Europe and earn shitloads of money, and i`m talking about players like eto`o, alex song, nonkeu, chedjou or webo...it should be an honour to play for your country at a final tournment, you shouldn`t put the problem this way
i personally don`t see any of cameroon`s players starving of hunger, so it`s stupid from their part
