The 2014 Tour de France is the 101st edition of the Tour de France. It started in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England, on 5 July 2014, and also featured a stage finish in London, before returning to France. The finish of the Tour de France is on 27 July in Paris, ofcourse on the Champs-Élysées.
Stages
This edition of the Tour de France will be made up of 21 stages and will cover a total distance of 3,664 kilometres. These stages have the following profiles:
9 flat stages
5 hill stages
6 mountain stages with 5 altitude finishes
1 individual time-trial stage
2 rest days
There are 9 new stage cities: Leeds, Harrogate, York, Sheffield, Cambridge, Ypres, Oyonnax, Risoul, Maubourguet Pays du Val d’Adour

Most of the times the first week is all about not breaking something, and when the Alps are in sight the Tour really begins. Also that first week is for us a week to turn on the tv at 5 o'clock to see the sprint :/ So something different is always nice, but unfortunatly my girlfriend zapped because she really don't like the Tour so I have missed most of it. I had to watch the replay in the evening to see what has happened.
