So in denmark we got new government.... biggest party voting for the new prime minister, is the biggest party on that side, but not in government, the nationalist party.... and the prime minister elected his department ministers today.... as head of employment, he choose a non elected person, the old leader of the "employeers/bosses" association... he proclaimed before election that people on early retimerent should be cut 1/4 in payment, and also big cuts to unemployed, in order to press wages down..... if this comes to reality, it would mean me and fiancee (and our son), will go from 1000 euro after bills, to 200 euro...... fml

I can link the articles, but they are in danish....

el pupe para adaca
nobody believed me when I was predicting that euro has this kind of effects.
Increasing the far right strenght in elections, compressing labour rights and wages.
you can blame people, politicians, institutions whaterver you like, but in this set of rule (determined by the euro fascism) they make no difference at all.
2015-06-29 00:13:56
Okay, so all is because of the euro? And those far rights spreading xenophobia and hate against other religions and regions and winning votes that way is just a coincidence ... the world wide crisis also has nothing to do with it of course. All is because of euro fascism.

An over-simplified post from an euro hater. You are the same, blinded by your ideology.

Greek banks to stay closed on Monday

A meeting of the Greek financial stability council makes decision on day ECB freezes its funding for the banking sector

Greek banks will not open on Monday, the head of one of the country’s biggest banks said on Sunday.

Anthimos Thomopoulos, the boss of Piraeus Bank, said that the banks would not open on Monday after leaving a meeting of the Greek financial stability council.

He made his remarks amid speculation that public holidays looked inevitable in Greece this week after the European Central Bank declined to increase its emergency financial lifeline to the Greek banks, cash that is keeping the country’s financial system functioning.

With Greece holding a controversial referendum on its creditors’ terms for its bailout in less than a week and the eurozone deciding to terminate the bailout on Tuesday, the pressure was on Mario Draghi, the president of the ECB, to make the call as to whether Greece would sink or swim.

In a finely calibrated decision, the governing council of the ECB decided on Sunday to leave the so-called emergency liquidity assistance to Greece at €89bn (£63bn), unchanged from last Friday.

“We continue to work closely with the Bank of Greece,” said Draghi.

Yannis Stournaras, the governor of the Bank of Greece and a member of the ECB council, said: “The Bank of Greece, as a member of the Eurosystem, will take all measures necessary to ensure financial stability for Greek citizens in these difficult circumstances.”

The decision to maintain life support supplied a little oxygen to a Greece in the throes of suffocation. On the other hand, no fresh funds were made available while Greeks resorted in ever-increasing numbers to withdraw their savings from ATMs, meaning that bank reserves were running low and not being replenished.

I have a great idea to save your country's economy: Vote for a populistic communist party ....

And it happened, banks will be closed on Monday and most probably even longer knowing that a propaganda referendum is held soon. Why let someone who knows (or should know) all about the country's financial situation and get paid very well to know this, like for example a Minister of Finance (?!!!!) make the best decisions?? How stupid, of course professionals don't know best. Let's ask the ordinary men on the street for their opinion about the economy, or better, let them decide what is best for the financial situation of the country by some referendum (but first prep their opinions!) :/

Besides, the announcement of this referendum resulted in even more Greeks withdraw cash from banks. Great call! How to get your country in an even worse situation? Ask Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and his ministers.

why are they growing in elections day by day in all europe?

Because unfortunately too many people are dumb enough to believe and vote for populistic xenophobic racists, manipulators and liars? And others who are not that bright and believe it's all because of the evil euro and EU and of course not the incompetent politicians they voted for who f*** up and are now falsely blaming the euro and EU?! Maybe because imposed hate, often through untruths, makes people do dumb and stupid things or even worse (countless examples in human history)? Maybe the smarter people have given up and don't vote anymore? Or another reason you didn't mention ... there could be many reasons other then your biased assumption.

Of course ..... the middle class in the US is never been this poor, see income vs inflation, and the US has over 46.5 million people on Food Stamps (largest economy in the world with an enormous dept, the EU also btw), Japan is struggling to get out the recession that ended a few months ago (Japan is the third largest economy in the world), South America to enter recession in 2015 (Brazil is the eighth largest economy in the world), South Africa heading for a deep recession (South Africa is the second largest economy in Africa), Indonesian Economy Shrinks a Second Quarter; Rupiah Declines (Indonesia is the largest economy in Southeast Asia), etc.

What did you say about a crisis only in Europe??

As I already said, blinded by your ideology, and apparently so much you post not only biased and over-simplified hate comments about euro and EU, but even complete nonsense. If you don't want to be discussed, don't post such obvious biased comments.

These Will Be the World's 20 Largest Economies in 2030

Take a peek at the new world that awaits us

Get ready for a new economic order. In the world 15 years from now, the U.S. will be far less dominant, several emerging markets will catapult into prominence, and some of the largest European economies will be slipping behind.

That's according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's latest macroeconomic projections that go out to 2030, displayed in the chart below. The U.S. will just barely remain the global leader, with $24.8 trillion in annual output. The gray bar represents the $16.8 trillion gross domestic product projected for 2015, and the green bar shows how much bigger the economy is expected to be 15 years from now. The country, worth 25 percent of the world economy in 2006 and 23 percent in 2015, will see its share decline to 20 percent.

China's GDP will grow to more than twice its size today, helping the Asian powerhouse to almost entirely close its gap with the U.S.

India, ranked eighth for 2015, will climb past Brazil, the United Kingdom, France, Germany and Japan to take third place in the world ranking. The International Monetary Fund calls India "the bright spot in the global landscape." The country will have the largest workforce in the world within the next 15 years, the IMF notes, and among the youngest.

Other nations won't be so lucky, particularly among developed economies. Japan, which was a roaring economy until its asset bubble burst in the early 1990s, has already slogged through decades of stagnation and will likely continue to see very little growth over the next 15 years. That will push Japan down a spot in the rankings by 2030, according to the USDA estimates.

The Netherlands still at number 20 in this prediction, at the moment number ± 17 ... a tiny crowded country with a population of only 17 million.

Ok, end of arguing ;)

Btw. The Greece...

2015-06-29 15:16:03
I read comments about the Greek economy of people who can not imagine what actually happens here in Greece.
Do not comment without knowing and not criticize situations that you have not ever lived (and I hope not to live).

As Greeks we have five years of austerity with economic measures by the International Monetary Fund.
In these five years the Greek debt and the recession have grown.
Of course we can not take new economic measures, because simply, Greeks don't have other money.

And so I ask a very simple question:
Why the International Monetary Fund and the European Union refuse to cut interest rates? Why ask for new economic measures that will make the Hellenes poorer? Do they want something? Eg. to buy at ridiculous prices oils, mineral wealth and the gold of the Greeks?
Do they want to control the Mediterranean sea?

However, the only certainty is that can't take new economic measures.
The money which lent the Europeans in Greece, go directly to the European Central Bank to repay the interest.
So that money is not actually used for the liquidity of Greek market.

The euro is a goner. The availiable money in the bank accounts of Europeans are fictitious. If all Europeans citizens go tomorrow to withdraw their money from bank's accounts, they will see that there aren't their moneys in banks .......... !!!!!!!

the european politician lied.
They did in Greece, but they did it even in northern europe (and they are already lying).
In Greece they lied assuring euro was a good idea for you all (even Tsipras lied assuring it's possible not to do austherity inside euro).
In northern they lied telling your problems come from your lazynes (or corruption etc).

Now your gov can' t get out from euro without denying itsesf (tsipras was a liar from the start).
and merkel and friends can't simply help Greece with their citizen money, because of the lies they told.
