What the 3 terrorists did, was just a suicide, because they chose to die instead to be imprisoned during 40 years (max in France)

I think they wanted to die as martyrs, and the downside of killing them is, they did die as martyrs in the eyes of terrorists like them :S

If you invest in sovereign debt, that's the risk you take.

do you understand that?

if you make a good investment you will earn the interest, if you dont you will lose!
thats the deal from the bigining and the lender knows that and makes his choice

Yes I understand it, Greece borrows money and must repay the dept. It's not an investment, it's a loan. If I borrow money, I pay it back or else I'm an respectless a-hole.

I hope you also understand the difference between a loan and an investment, or else any discussion about it is useless.
2015-01-12 17:03:15
Talking about respectless .............................. :S
2015-01-12 17:09:31
its an investment and a bad one cause the programme that make for Greece the investers failed!
180% dept have not viability for paying back

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loan vs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Investment

So it's a loan, but if you think it's an investment for whatever reason, go ahead :/

I can't understad the difference, if you fail to recognize who to loan money without risk you lose them.
Loaning money for interest is a risky activity.
If debtors DECIDE not to repay the borrower you can take him to a court. But with a state you can't. So it's more risky.

+1

and the UN recognize this right for states
2015-01-12 18:17:16
Ofcourse there is a big difference, specially when it comes to not able to repay the investment or not willing to repay the loan.

And for the voters, to vote for people who call for not repaying the loan is voting for thiefs. The money comes from others who gave up certain things to help Greece. To say, thanks and we don't give it back is unacceptable.

I want to say two things:
1) The money comes from others who gave up certain things to help Greece
this word "to help" is unacceptable.
Who lend money for a big interest (giving condition and gaining power by this) don't do it for help.

2)I agree that everybody doesn't repay a debt take a responsability.
But I prefer to keep separated the political/right/economic analysis from moral values.
Reality shows it happens and that sometimes is better not to repay (for the debtor!!!), so it is a perfectly legitimate political choice. As the opposite (killing people in order to repay debts..)
Moral valutation are personal and IMHO, not very interesting here.
2015-01-12 18:26:41
anyway whoever will win the election in Greece will not repy debts, because it is impossible.
there's a great talk about it, but it is simply unavoidable to give more time and sooner or later give another "free ride" to greece's bonds.

We should remember that Greece did it (better Germany decide that Greece should..) not to many years ago.
2015-01-12 18:57:16
tell that to your politics who invest to a failure programm and they move the devts from funds to the states.
;)

we follow the desasterus proggram and failed
the only choice know is democracy and freedom and we hope all the countrys follow to the freedom from debts

+1000 for el pupe!

Who lend money for a big interest (giving condition and gaining power by this) don't do it for help.

No one gives money for free. And the interest on new loans, if someone is still willing to borrow Greece money with the risk they won't repay it, will only go up when Greece won't repay the current loans, or won't even try to do it.

But I prefer to keep separated the political/right/economic analysis from moral values.

I don't because elections are coming and the Greeks have to make a choice, vote morally right or wrong.
