Seriously luuut, just buy some tequila. Any shop employee can help you to find a decent one.
If they want to mix it, the taste doesn't even matter that much...

If possible, get one with a worm in it, and to enhance the party mood get somebody to eat it :-)

And keep the gin, just in case your girlfriend really wanted gin :-)

The party is already over. I bought some tequila and it was good.
