Asunto: Bet on Euro 2016
Apparently, Payet prefers rugby as well :P
So, you want the best team to win, but you don't know who it is, "just not Portugal". You hate simulation, but the only truly injured player, without the foul being called, was Portuguese. You are less and less interested in this sport, but here you are hoping "next time the best wins".
Just go watch rugby, no problem for me. No point in watching sports you don't like (you won't find me in a baseball forum).

Payet does not prefer rugby, 'cause you don't have such contacts in rugby.
The NT of Portugal has many players, that let themselve fall pretty easily, complaining to the referee for an imaginary foul (i.e. simulation). Ronaldo himself did it quite a few times, and Nani, Pepe for example too.
That Ronaldo was hurt does not mean he never simulates. How could you insinuate, that I find it good? Payet did a clear foul and disserved a yellow card. You should never go in a tackle that way! never!
imho Ronaldo is the most overrated player at the moment. It would be a bit different, if he was really a team player and humble. Like Messi (you should understand what I mean).
I'm not only hoping, that the best team wins next. I only hope, that there will be a change, making simulation so difficult, that it will no more be worth it. Do you really like the use of simulation in football?
I'll keep watching only swiss NT, besides EC and WC. You won't see me watch other international football competitions...

Everyone will agree with you about simulation (like Moutinho's one, disgusting). Too bad it became a trend.
Congrats to Portugal even they've been poor throughout the major part of the tournament, but the whole tournament was quite crap actually so I'm not mad they won it.
Just hope we won't be seeing more and more of defensive, ugly football we had to watch on this Euro.

Messi is a fraud and a doper !
Messi is a fraud and a doper !
who leads us always will disappointed us, no matter sports, vices, idols
And how do you feel about Lichtsteiner? He is 10 times worse than Ronaldo :-)
Dunno if im too old to enjoy football anymore or this was a really boring tournament.
Portugals coach won that game for Portugal.
Portugals coach won that game for Portugal.
It was just boring, worst one I ever saw [first I remember was WC '98].
Though it seems to be the scenario for the future, more or less. 'Weaker' teams are well prepared physically since they train in top 5 European leagues mostly, they know tactics, they know how to defend. Basically there were ~16 Greeces '04 at this tournament.
And no team wants to risk playing open football because they know that the moment they get countered and lose a goal, they are screwed.

i know the secret of boring ..you want others winners
Why are you coming with Stephan Lichtsteiner?
They are completly different player types, and nobody claims that Lichtsteiner is the best football player in the world (afaik Ronaldo himself claims this titel).
As for choosing the best player in the swiss NT, I guess noone in Switzerland would answer Lichtsteiner...

Are we talking about best players, or are we talking about simulations and being dirty? We are talking about the latter and Lichtsteiner is the worst kind of player possible.
Even though I support Juventus and its players, Stephan is as dirty as it gets. Haven't seen you complaining :-)
And simulating Portugal? Most teams do that unfortunately. Busquets does it all the time, it happend to 'bests' like Xavi, Iniesta, Chiellini is another dirty player. Really see no point in underlining the Portuguese in that aspect.
