Lol, incredible story.
I remember watching the movie from the final, but I didn't know the full story behind it.

Even his behavior (sticking to the back) wasn't caused by just being slow/weak ice skater but was caused by some experiences from his previous years of his career.

He was the weaker athlete in the final, but in this sport this tactic can actually turn out good :)
He said staying in the back and hope people fall was his only chance to even win a medal :)

He hoped 2 fall :p to get bronze but they all went down :)

Today maybe a new record, the first winter Olympic athlete winning gold medals in 4 different Olympic Games. Wüst now has 4 gold medals in 3 Olympic Games. Let's hope so :D

Michael Phelps is the absolute number 1 with 23 gold medals in 4 Olympic games, Wüst can become the number 5th or 6th athlete with this record.
