They are true disciples of God. I read in their interview that this song describes their experiences during prayer and the overall feeling of lack of God's presence in modern society. Also that certain people created false Gods in the form of money, fame and materialism which will inevitably lead to crash of modern world - unless, as they have so nicely sang , we do not turn to ourselves, start praying and "listening to the sound of silence"

Well this is a religious topic and I really feel I have the right to discuss religion here with all the other participants. I do not visit topics that are not in my interest zone, I do tell other people what to do, I want us all to be happy and to be able to communicate openly without being judgmental.

I have a special place in my heart and my prayers for all of you that worship other Gods. God is kind, he loves you.


Do forgive me if this is to personal, but I have to admit that I am trying to understand what is making you visit this topic so often, when you are so not interested in religion. My guess is that deep down, we are all religious and trying to find a way to salvage our souls and get answers to the famous "Is this life really just... well this... playing, sleeping, working, getting old and finally ending as food for worms - or is there more to it?"
