it seems to become normal that rich clubs calculate in complete packages. That means, the less transfer fee, the more salary.

that will be really delicate for their salary structure, with a lot of consequences.

I think a transfer and wage ceiling has to be implemented. Those billionair clubs are completely destroying the football or what's left of it.
Haaland is rumoured to be payed 6M base wage each season, excluded of bonusses with a 5 year contract.
That's 30M guaranteed minimum wage for 5 years. That's a Multinational ceo wage...

That's a Multinational ceo wage...

football players make less damage on earth than CEOs, I would prefer a salary cap for managers

Tbh, no football player is worth that money

Comparatively speaking, some of them actually are. With the immense revenue clubs are making nowadays with the TV market, merchandising etc. it's only logical that the players' profits have followed suit as well. If the company you work at suddenly saw their revenue skyrocket, wouldn't you want a healthy raise as well? We are all to blame, actually, because without our continued interest in the game and our willingness to accept the ever more expensive TV-subscriptions and merch, they wouldn't be able to keep the profit fest alive.

Even though it's logical, I don't like it either. But then again, we live in a world where some individuals own more than several countries.

But , I wonder who will replace him in Dortmund .

Joel Pohjanpalo. And the tranfer price will be 97% cheaper than what they got from Haaland.. :D

That's a Multinational ceo wage...

How many multinational CEOs score 20+ goals in Premier League next season? ;)

e: And to be honest the transfer prices are ridiculous, just because football is a hobby for rich people and they're ok with the fact that they lose hundreds of millions a season. But if ManU paid 80M£ for Harry Maguire, I think Haaland was a big bargain! Especially if he has some extras and a proven talent.
