Euh .... okay :/

Back ontopic, just finished watching Chappie. I liked it :) District 9 is still the best movie of this director.

And also finished watching Home, another very nice new animation from DreamWorks :)

Sometimes I do like movies that are rated low on IMDb, but often the low rating is for a good reason, like this movie.

Some of those movies are so bad that they are actually good comedies :)

See trailer for Birdemic.

Yeh, I have seen that movie, or actually, parts of the movie. I had to skip large parts because it's just too bad to watch it all :/

Those birds is one of the worst special effects ever made. And the scene when they run outside with clothes hangers to keep the exploding birds away, very funny :P

For those who are interested, here is the full movie. Or just watch a couple of minutes to see what I just described as one of the worst special effects and worst scenes ever made! Just watch minute 47.00 till 52.00, that's all you need to see:

I am surprised you watched a movie with 2,2 IMDB rating:) I have never gone that low. About movies. As horror movies fan went to see Poltergeist remake at cinemas. And it was total crap. ca.30 minutes of movie was pretty decent and even scary, but after that it was a total bs for me and waited the end.

I want to see for myself if a movie is worth watching, even when rating is low. Many others may dislike a movie, maybe I like it :) So sometimes I give it a try and once in a while it was not a total waste of time. Besides, I can't really find good movies anymore which I didn't watch already :/

We can use you as encyclopedia :)

Do you know some good mysteries? Something like Mulholland Drive which is my favorite movie, Donnie Darko, The Sixth Sense, Source Code... Not those "who kidnapped who" mysteries, but these mind-blowing "what is reality or not" movies... Thats my jam :)

You can check other Lynch movies e.g. Lost Highway or Inland Empire or Jacob's Ladder (thats not Lynch but I dont remember director); A Scanner Darkly by Linklater also may suits You. Predestination, Black Swan, Twelve Monkeys, Moon, Vanilla Sky or the movie on which its based - Abre los ojos are also well-known more-or-less mind-blowing movies. You can check also Dark City, In the Mouth of Madness.
Although, most of these movies You probably already know.

EDIT: Check also "Enemy" which I mentioned a couple of pages back.

A nice list of movies indeed. I rated most of those movies 7 or even 8, and I don't often rate 7 or higher.

I looked in my IMDb list in genre Mystery, maybe also some of these movies:
Transcendence
Limitless
Memento
The Prestige
Dark City
Minority Report
Sleepy Hollow
Cube (Cube was the best of the trilogy, Cube²: Hypercube and Cube Zero are also nice movies)
Cypher
Unbreakable
The Thirteenth Floor
The Jacket
Blindness
