Just watched this movie...was a lot of fun...anyone seen it?
I saw this movie about 1 year ago... I don't like horror movie, but this movie I liked :), Wonderful movie :)
Just finished watching Army of Darkness. Not really a great movie, but it has some funny moments. I think the 7.6 rating on IMDb is to high, I give it a 6.

I like strange movies from a time special effects wasn't that great yet, but this wasn't one of those movies ;)
If you want to watch a movie without the special effects that I really do like (if you don't know it already), The Dark Crystal :) I gave it an 8.0

I think that "Army of Darkness" gets higher ratings because it's part of a cult movie series.
If people only looked at the quality of the script, acting and so on it would probably get very low ratings. Admitedly I don't think I've seen that one, but I've seen the first movie and judging by that it's not exactly world class stuff.
But it's a cult classic and is better because of it.
It's like some movies that is bad in every way, but are meant to be that way, so then they're not as bad. If you know what I mean.

with good organisation of day and limited time for seeing friends you can easily watch 1 movie/day

I have periods I watch a lot of movies in the evenings, often alone but sometimes also with friends and/or roommates. And ofcourse I also spend time with friends not watching movies, but I also really like to spend time on my own when I'm tired in the evenings :) And what's better then being tired after a really busy day .. laying down with your feet up high and watch a movie ;)

I watch movies at work.
That's the kind of work I would like to have :P Or maybe not, also sounds a bit boring to have that much free time at work ;)

When I was at uni I had loads of time to watch films and TV shows. The easy life!
Just finished watching Contagion. Was an ok movie but nothing really special. I would give it a 6+ but that can't be done on IMDb so I give it a 6.
Yeah, that actually annoys me. Imdb is like the main site for rating movies and then there is so little possibility for differentiating between different movies. Especially when you start comparing them to other movies you rated, you'll be like, oh I rated that movie a 7, so I can't rate it higher than that, but then still it was better than a 6. It seems like such an easy concept to introduce.
