isn´t good german, i understand none sentence..

I don´t understand some sentences you express..

Die Familien waren groß. Heutige Familie sind kleiner.. Kinder arbeiten nicht viel und müssen Hausaufgaben machen (dont understand ungebungen?). Kinder machen nicht ??? (dont understand schaften, maybe schuften?). Heutige Eltern sind modern, (offer???), Eltern verbringen viel Zeit beim (schuften?). Die Eltern waren strenger. (dont understand sentences: Sie kinder sprechst uber eltern auf arbeite, schule und geld.) Die (ernechung??) war streng. Frauen arbeiteten nicht, sie sollten für die Kinder und den Haushalt sorgen.
