Bitte mal melden unter 0151/56649548.

what does it exactly mean?
I was asking some guy whether there are places available (doesn't matter what it had to do with) and he said "Platz ist noch. Bitte mal melden unter 0151/56649548." So there is a place available but what should I exactly do with these numbers?

thanks.

I guess it's a telephone number and you have to confirm by calling.
2009-04-22 11:44:58
Exactly, but that's going to be a funny call if he doesn't understand German ;)

I do understand some German in writing but when it comes to listening or, worse yet, to reply.. oh my, I promised myself not to swear excessively : /

thanks guys anyway.

Well, the alphabet you've used is quite unusual to me. Shame on me, there are a lot of countries all around the world making use of it, but in spite of that I don't understand your manuscript, believe me.

P.S. Try to translate it

@kreator: you don't have to worry gtpaonik just made a mistake and posted in a wrong topic. as far as I know greek are used only a)by greeks, b)by cypriots, c)in maths...

@Valenciano: actually "λ"=lamda and "δ"=delta
