Transformers? That's what this is about lol. long-trapped means he has been trapped for a long time, but the grammar is incorrect.

Zuerst dachte Petra, dass ihr Ehemann Probleme bei der Arbeit hat, nun aber denkt sie das er eine Affäre hat. Petra erzählte ihrer Freundin wie sie Jürgen zu jemanden sagen hörte "ich dich auch".
Beate (ihre Freundin) schlug vor einen Privatdetektiv zu verdingen um es aufzuklären.
