no, but a short statement directly from greg with some informations how they will handle it in future would be very nice.
But communication doesn't seem to be very important to the devs and I think communication is VERY important (in this game and in RL, but that isn't important now;-))

Ok, I can tell you. Next time they will put the blue cable in the red hole and they will also do something with the yellow cable. After that they will do a, theoretically, inexisting amount of major configurational changes. Furthermore they will add the following lines to a major file (I forgot its name) on line 55:
"kce89ujsjfh 3q r8df9u3-4fsdjkl -2814r8= 12390492904ru8er90gi wuifh34- rt9083 1r59034 r819w8rsuj4=901riwqeipfuo;isadujfopweqdfjvguiopsdh t803814r90a8 idfiotj4= 9=59-2f349-r8iiodfklvig r899wef=0234r =934==8124894 hjkndf 23908 ti885u ilckgjv r=9ti34=09 582i4iovlj =-43-rt0143r919ir590u3 4pfuierwj f9=2 4tweqid p'weo;qk df[kfqkljdgb vmuiopiew ro o ruhj ewfioasjdpfoiuwei9qfj894uer1jewflsk;adnmfoipsjdaf9ieudf988qweurioesjafclkdjf-0qwer90u1iorjdfsalkdcj"
This will result in the computer playing the first symphony of Beethoven with a volume of 250 dB (complete Warzawa should be able to hear that) whenever the match engine suddenly stops. NORMALLY (I insist on emphasizing 'normally') greg would hear this and it would make him decide to wait a couple of minutes with making tea for his wife, because greg doesn't like classical music.

Sometimes passes go straight to the goal without anyone intercepting them... ;)

Why would greg post again once he had already posted and someone copied his message?
I would think thats pointless.

I don't think so.
I'm not even sure, whether greg told loop to post it or whether loop simply considered about communication (what greg imho doesn't).

devs aren't responsible for the communication with users.
they give us mods and admins information and we forward it to our community.
That's what I did.

"devs aren't responsible for the communication with users."
I think they are, but this is just my personal opinion.

The problem is that these 3 guys created a game that more than 50.000 people play.
Therefore, although they may in the end be responsible for communication, or for communiction policy, it doesn't mean that they can't use their tens of staff members to moderate fora, to check users' applications, to deal with cheating... AND to deliver mssages to the community. For instance, they don't publish home page news themselves, they have staf members publishing them in every SOkker language.
So, just as the owner ot the CEO of a company does not do by himself every sinlge job in the company, devs here can't do every single thing. And if you ask me, I'd rather have them programming and fixing bugs (like fixing last sunday's match halt) than writing in forums while some admin or mods tries to fix it in vain ;P

Well...
I guess some short statements to some ideas wouldn't take them much time...
And that they're not translating the news in every language ist quite clear to me and makes sense.

"I guess some short statements to some ideas wouldn't take them much time..."
No, but it would take much time if they would have to reply to every idea and have to discuss with everyone about those idea's.
And yes, developers sometimes make some statements about idea's. You can find in the Ideas realisation topic on this forum the status of various idea's ranging from idea's which are accepted by devs to idea's which need some discussion, idea's which are turned down and idea's which are not replyed to.

And where is this "Ideas realisation topic"??
Wanna see whether all the let's say 20 newest ideas are integrated.
I can't even THINK of that

Most new idea's are old idea's.
"And that they're not translating the news in every language ist quite clear to me and makes sense."
Yes, news is being translated to every language. If a news item is not available in your language it must be because your linguist did not translate it (yet).

I meant that news isn't translated by the devs, not translated in generally.

Of course not. Devs already have some difficulties with English. Other languages probably would be even worse.
