Asunto: Goalkeepers in youth school

I don't know whether to put it as a bug or just an idea but we are definitely not getting enough goalies at the youth school...that is why most teams play a normal outfield in goal. I don't care much about who plays in goal but it would be nice to have a goalie prospect every now and then not just outfield players.

Keeper numbers do seem low, but i would imagine it is regulated by the developers to ensure a good enough flow of keepers for the market.

Personally i don't want any keepers in my school. I don't train them, and would prefer the slot to be an outfield player!

But you always can sack any GK you get, if you don't want them. But for those of us who want to play in the junior leagues with some logic, it is absurd not getting any GK (whilst others could get three in a row).

Completely agree. Some kind of hidden counter could be implemented, so juniors could be generated for a team proportionally to positions over a number of 11. So, ideally, for each 11 players joined in the school, 1 would be a GK, 4 DEFs, 4 MIDs and 2 ATTs (for instance -they have not be mandatorily these numbers-). Each time once is is generated, the appropiate 'seed type' would be gotten, and the player created, and the number of players of that type would be increased by one.

When a player's type could fall back in the proportions to a certain amount (for instance, no GK had arrived between the last 20 juniors pulls), some bonus could be added to the probability of that type being the next pulled (or a GK could be directly generated), and the same with the other types. Once a type would be again near the 'correct' proportions, the bonus would be reset.

Of course, some managers could want, for profit, only some types (or only one), but these are JUNIOR SCHOOLS, not Messi's factories, and in order for juniors to play (and learn) football, they have to trains and play in a normal, complete football team, not in an 11 ATT sport(?)'s squad.

Having a youth GK is pretty much the same as having an outfield youth in goal anyway.

Not an issue for me at all.

Perhaps 'keeper trainers could have a button in the youth system which they can click which will guarentee them more GK juniors, but less juniors overall.

When this DEVs will stop do silly things thats its bot atracts no one to the game and FIX THE YOUTHS?!?!?!?!?!??!?!

And this is simple (3 things):

1. Show all skills of youth players
2. stop the random grafics of his evaluations
3. Make a handicap bonus in all players and skills to make the game more fun to watch

Number 3 needs tweaks on the match viewer / match engine...so I recon it's a big chunk to chew for the devs.

Number 1 and 2 has already been included in their youth rework proposal, but it will take some time to do the rework properly and as a whole.

Imo...pace needs to be adjusted in general, but the problem is that it's not possible, due to the existing players!
The fact that tragic pace players can be trained up to superdivine pace is not logic at all, but since this is a game...it's a possibility in which I can relate.
Playmaking is also a very strong game changer, but again...this is a game and the same for everybody.

The only thing I have a roblem with is that sometimes the game is being spoken of as a game, and the other time as a simulator which resembles real life.
They need to step away from the real life thinking! Make it in game realism. So all things within the game makes sence being as they are.
