Asunto: [IDEA] SK Currency

Hi folks , i was thinking that if the devs made it so sokkerland has 1 currency and does away with the users current currency it wouuld make life so much easier
Basically im in Scotland and our currency is the pound £ , when trying to arrange a transfer with good honest people or people who like to try and cheat you from money its currently a litle harder to get things right because of exchange rates and whatever unknown factors
The devs could implement it so everyone has a "fictional" currency , maybe known as the SK , so instead of seeing my balance as £ 2 500 000 or whatever it would look like 2 500 00 SK ,
I maybe wrong but if this was implemented it might free up more server space for further improvements
Anyway its just a simple idea , if you like it and would like to add to my idea feel free :)

A bad and absurd idea, I must say.
Where is that 'sokkerland' of yours? In what continen? Maybe in 'North Sokkeria'? Don't you say that you are in Scotland? In Scotland there are pounds. Maybe in Sokkotelland (a fictional country in the North of an Island in Western Sokkeria) the sokkoin ccan be the monetary unit, but in Scotland (real and simulated), as the date of today, the currency is the pound, like the euro in most of Europe, the dollar in US, etc.
Realism is a quite good point of Sokker (though DEVs seem commited lately to reduce it more and more each time). If we start to value and use 'sokker chips', what the hell justification could exist to remain simulating real countries anymore, and not join all the teams in an ultra-mega-sokkerworld's competition, so each other can fight to be the best of all in a chaotic mix of nationalities?
Currency exchanges in Sokker are approximate, and they are FIXED and simple, and you already have a functionality for convert amounts from a currency to another. Also, whenever you ask (or search) offers, you can demand (or supply) the amount asked/offered in the amount you wish (you also can use yourself the converter to check each amount). Why to pretend to turn users a step more towards becoming lazy dogs, and use a fictional currency when many can be used -and precisely there is the fun-?
@ Charles Hill
Nice idea? Really?: Making the game under a sole fictional country from the beginning would have been the easier and simplest option. But DEVs (yes those people who should attend this 'idea') implemented the multiple currency simulation, making it operative, sturdy and working in an excellent way. But this 'idea' implies that that work of theirs was in the end, let's say, sh*t, and that they should have used the dumb option of an unique fictional currency for everybody? How do you think they should take this 'proposal'?
In any case, does anybody have seriously any hope of the DEVs acknowledging that they did something wrong, to the point of *remaking* it anew? Because I think it could be the first time in the history of Sokker in such thing to happen...

Who's sincere - won't cheat, be it SK or EUR or Romanian lei, or pounds, or even Botswana (iete :P) pula. Who does, will do with the same Sokker currency. Well, it would avoid certain misunderstandings, it is true, but won't solve the problem.
indeed my friend
its not intended as a problem solver but a device for the lazy person lol :)

This has to be a joke:
- Countries are currencies. Countries without currencies are pointless (?)
- Sokker is a game about simulating countries (!?)
Fantastic.
Now, coming back to reality: very old, but never implemented idea, so still valid. Keep it up, Stevie.

Stevie,
In many ways a sensible idea. Lets just default to the £. :)
Remember you can use the (money) thing which helps a bit when negotiating. I use it a lot.
1 666 668 $ :)
[ money=3]1000000[/ money]
