I think that I and many others coachs thinks that the Youth League are very random in line ups and find a player in the right place its lottery.

My idea to do this a litle better to us funnyness is put on all players of the youth school a position define (GK, DEF, MID or ATT).

The avaliation of the software may be based on the atual "training assistent" and to non-PLUS players on a default rating like:

GK = 60% keeper, 30% pace, 10% passing
DEF = 40% defender, 25% pace, 15% tech, 10% playmaking, 10% passing
MID = 30% playmaking, 30% passing, 15% pace, 15% tech, 10% defender
ATT = 40% striker, 25% tech, 20% pace, 5% passing, 5% playmaking, 5% defender

That way we can turn back to enjoy the Youth league...

It sounds good at first, but for some reason devs want to keep youth skills invisible, and with your idea Plus users could get the exact skills of their juniors by repeatedly changing the % values in the assistant.

I'm with Borkos in any case: fielding the players in somewhat better positions would only be a marginal increase. You still wouldn't know whether your good young mid is a better defender than your weak young def. And more importantly: even with fully observable skills, the level would still be below the worst main team match ever.

I like the idea. But.... it wouldnt be difficult to find out skills the player has. And Greg want that to be in the dark.

But using the default for everyone would work without that problem i think.

/edit: altough... with these knowing figures... i could make a formulas that should work good. So I am afraid... Greg will not do it. But i realy would like it :D

l don´t like the idea
l think, the training assistant is complete nonsense
l don´t think, that the now existing youth league is well thought
my wish for the youthleagues is to get rid of the absurd 5:0 arrangement

my vote is number 4: so what

I think it's fine the player notes are hidden. But to happen what Don Enzo sads would need the user to have advanced numerical calculation knowledge to they solve equations systems with 8 variables.

This is hard to find. I know, but I'm not pay me to do that.

However, if the fear its bigger than will to better the things, I accept that the default will be true to all.

Another idea were an international cup for all youth teams like a national cup ...

If the players atributes still are a mistery and to solve just with God´s lucky, will be continue useless thing to fun for all.

I cant understand why the youth skills should be invisible ? one one pays more for a youth wh
ile in the youth set up than when he graduates. plus a extra coach. it thik it is silly one cant see their skills..they are members of the clib as wel. its funny if that was in real life. teams have players in the youth set up and the coaches dont know what position the players he has plays lol . it is too expensive to run and unreliable ,

This idea dont change a lot, level are so low so tactic choices and match view are boring. Challenge is boring : 1st or last, no matter it's just a question of players lottery - at the beginning you can challenge with tactic, but when we are experimented all the tactics are almost the same, the player lottery make the difference.

And if the evaluation of Jrs coach were a single one just when the player arrives in youth school?

This way if you change the assistent skills evaluation, the position of jrs won't change!

If you look at junior matches and write down the things you see happening, e.g very slow players, defs often kicking balls out of the pitch, mids who can't pass to other players even for few meters, atts never dribble players and never scoring goals, etc, and ofcourse also the things they do perfectly fine, you should be able to find out the skills of players. Specially if you know the skills after you promote them to the first team and now the skills.

But many times this is a luck factor.

The indication of position at least will put this analysis in only the skills and not the positions. Because this looking for is very boring.
