Asunto: Form algorithm
- 1
This is a topic that will appeal to a lot of people: When a player is out of form, it can take a while for him to regain is form. That's acceptable. What is not acceptable is that players stay out of form for a season or more. That is not normal. I would urge the team to revise the algorithm for form in such a way that it will try to regain or degress to a ' average form' faster, taking the previous average over the prior, say 12 weeks, into account. So, the longer a player is in bad form, the more likely he progresess and visa versa.
I have a striker with a maximum form of 2 over the past 17 weeks. It's ugly.

Yes.... they should all be between 9 and 14 mostly, and then form should have things like playing well, winning, injuries etc have minor impact like 1-2 +-....... form below 5 should mostly only been after injuries or without playing time....... there is no reason why players should react so much worse on field, in a ME that could raise it minimum level of performance...... but of course still some random into it
