Asunto: [Idea] easier sub order

No idea if this is already mentioned.

I think it would be easy if i can give less specific orders so more orders are free to use, For example the order:
minute 1, red card or no player, replace GK with player x
minute 1, red card or no player, replace DEF with player x
etc

So in this caseI only 1 order is needed to replace the empty spot GK, DEF, MID and ATT. Player x (player on the pitch) will take over the empty spot, whatever DEF will be out. Ofcourse player x can be a different player for GK or DEF, or MID, or ATT. And also the current option should reamain for those who want player x only as wing DEF and plater Y as central DEF, for example.

This should be secondary to subs for injuries. If a player get injured, he will be first replaced by a sub.

Hopefully my idea is explained clear enough.

Yes, but it still has flaws.

If you play with higer players with def order (because of the training system) and you say, player x replaces DEF, then it's possible that player x will be transferred to the higher position, which might not be suited for him.

But what could be ok is to assign the order in 1 line for multiple positions, by number...

F.e.... minute 1, red card or no player, replace player on position(s) 2; 3; 4; 5; 6; 7
with player X

Also...give 2 sorts of orders....

1) Substitutions
2) Position switches

It's very annoying if you give orders like:

minute 1, red card or no player, replace number 5 with player x
minute 60, always, replace number 8 with player y

The match plays...
Minute 14... injury on position 5...player y replaces number 5.

You know, minute 60 will be stupid!
Your current number 8 will swap places with number 5! Bye bye tactic!

It is almost impossible to make it flawless I think.

But replace numbers is also an option. As long as I don't have to use 5 lines for just 1 order in case of red card or no player, I will be happy.

Still.... substitutions and position switch should be separate... That is a must imo!

And there is another flaw...

If, f.e., your 5 is a DEF and get substituted on minute 60 by another def sub on your bench...
Then... you have a conditional order...red card or no player ... player x on position 5
Then in the match, your player on position 5 gets RED on minute 55 and had to leave the pitch, and his position is taken over by player x
The substitution is pointless now... still...it will happen.
