This player played in this match. He got injured early, but he didn't leave the pitch (I subbed him later at 45'), so it is a light injury, he should receive training. It was a 7 day injury on Wednesday.

Why I think he didn't receive training:
- He was supposed to pop in a skill, that was his 5th week of training, his last pop was after 4 weeks.
- His teamwork dropped by 6, clear indicator that nothing he played last week counted.

This has always been like that. "7 days" is not "Slight injury" and doesn't get training but for some reason stays on the pitch. And injury update is after training update, so he drops to slight only after.

Indeed. However it stays a stupid rule to exclude injured players to training if they played minutes that week.
But this will normally be the last season that would be the case, since players were promised to get training in that case, with the new training system.

with the new training system.

Why it should be ? The new training system is build upon the current one, there is no reason injuries stop a training even for a player in a slot. Or i miss something ?

Yes. The order in which events occur isn't relevant anymore. The player will cumulate all minutes played in all orders, regardless of the position of the match. Now, training will only be calculated AFTER the last game ends and training will only be valid for the last order the player played in.
The new training system won't calculate injuries, only the matches. Injuries will prevent a player to be able to play or to be selected for a training spot, but it won't erase previous selections anymore.
So...a big difference imo.

Interesting... Did not know that new change.

Everything here is wrong.
1. In the new system you can choose whatever order you want your player to get training in.
2. Only minutes played with this chosen order will count for training.
3. Training will be calculated at Thursday morning, you can change training order before that time and you will be fine (the same way it works now - you can change training order and type just before training calculations on Thursday and it works like it was that all week)

That's why there is this option to choose order in the picture posted in DD63:

For example if you have a player who played as MID in friendly and in one league match, and as ATT in the second league match then you can choose either MID or ATT for him to get a good training (I assume in this situation he would get a slighlty better efficiency training with MID formation, as he played two matches as MID). You could also choose GK or DEF, but then he would only get that base % efficiency, whatever it will be.

The new training system won't calculate injuries, only the matches.

I don't think it was confirmed that injuries will not prevent training.

Injuries will prevent a player to be able to play or to be selected for a training spot, but it won't erase previous selections anymore.

That's also a weird information, why would the injury prevent selecting player for a training spot?
