Asunto: Red card in friendly match Nt
- 1
Hi, this player https://sokker.org/player/PID/37505301 had a Red card in last match with NT (friendly match Crna Gora-Brasil)... Can he play first match of world cup?
Red card is the same of injury (canceled after the game)?

Red card in NT match means suspention for the next match, regardless of type of match
Ok thanks. But now what is the sense of friendly NT match? No extra-training but red card= suspension for the next (official) match
Friendly NT's are the perfect opportunity for younger (U25?) players to get the chance to play, gain experience and to test how future generations endure in your current tactics. If you play A-players who have 2 yellow cards, you will risk more than possible injuries.
Rotation is very important within NT's.

Now my NT is number 35 in the rank. If i play friendly with U25 i lose match and positions in the rank. As you know, the teams between number 18 and number 34 are in second pot of in the draws (for group of qualification in world cup)...
In your opinion second pot and third pot in the draw are the same thing???

Maybe not, but if you lose players in your friendlies, so you cannot use them in your important matches, do you think it's the best solution to always play the best team?
You have to realise that a team like Crna Gora, with only 10 users in it's country is playing far above it's standards if it's ranked nr 35 on the ranking, don't you?
People cannot expect wonders from a team like your NT, but they can hope you can play for decent results when it matters.
Playing young players is coaching in long term thinking.
Playing like you do, will leave only decay when you decide to quit, or eventually, when you do decide to stay longer.
I saw it in Belgium when I took over the team.
It took me years to get the team back on track, since the previous managers did great work on the short term, but nothing on the long run.
Now, Royal Flush is playing excellent with Belgium, thinking on both short and long term.
Either you play the short term cards, jumping from NT to NT, solely to get personal records, but I feel the long term work is much more important. It depends on the way of thinking I guess.

Absolutely no! I won a world cup with Crna Gora U21 and now i want to win also with senior! :-)

I have been training Crna Gora for 12 seasons (9 in u21 + 3 senior)... I think I know who has to play to stay on top... :-)
In this topic i was asking another thing: why in friendly match injury deleted but red card no... It's no sense

''I want to win'' is a big difference from ''I have a team that can win''
It's good to be ambitious, but keep it realistic...

Because lots of things doesn't make sense. Why, if a player gets a red card on the league match on wednesday, he cannot play the national cup on friday, but is then back free from suspention on sunday?
But the main reason, I believe, to answer your question, is because the red card will not prevent him from training in his club and thus it won't harm the player.
Still, NT friendlies are imo not correct to jump free on suspention when a player got a red card in the last official NT match, sits out the friendly match with suspention, and is then back free to play the next official game.
