Asunto: Pop ups for 'important' games

I don't know if this has been discussed yet, but maybe it would be a nice addition to the game to create pop ups to inform users about upcoming or ongoing NT games or CC games (maybe from quarterfinals and onwards)

Something like:

Your country is facing [insert country opponent name] in the world championships tomorrow, be sure to tune in at 11.59 AM and cheer your country to victory!
(maybe add a link to a topic where users can discuss the upcoming game)

or

BRONCAS BOYS from Spain is facing the Football Warriors from Latvia in the semifinals of the Champions Cup, tonight at 7PM! Who are you rooting for?!

+1, preferably configurable, which competitions/teams you want to follow. Id want notifications about my nt guys games for example.

+1. It can (and maybe should) be part of a news ticker....event scroll...chat box...something interactive.
