how come all my youths are 20 y/o when everyone elses is 19 and below :(
Bad luck and the fact that they've been in your youth squad over 2 seasons and had 2 age gains?
Cos you keep the long ones rather than the talented ones.
Season ago I got my best youth :)
Incredible +3
tragic stamina, tragic keeper
hopeless pace, average defender
good technique, excellent playmaker
excellent passing, adequate striker
And I was just going to train pace :)
It was quite perfect, eh ? :)

Would have been even more perfect if pace and striker were swapped. I hope my incredible next week will be like that.
Well yes, but also I missed the age, its was 18 and 19 for now ;)
don't worry about the SATS they mean PISH all for you, I should know I'm a science teacher
I'm not too bothered about them really as I'm fairly clever. It's just annoying that there is so much emphasis on how important they are and how much revision you need to do etc. It's all just to make the school look better.
I did no revision for my sats and I got level 7 in English and Maths, and Level 6 in science when I took my SATS in year 9.

With no maths revision I got miles into level 8 in a practice paper. Science I got level 7 in a practice (but I've revised a bit for that) and English in a pratice Shakespeare paper I got a level 5b :( I suck at English.
you can't get higher than a 7 in science anymore, as long as you get 6 or above you'll be in higher anyway. The schools won't even be able to compare for your GCSE's as the syllabus is changing next year for you guys going into yr10, will be applied science
No such thing as SATs when I was at school but my all 3 of my kids are going through it at present. Although I understand it was supposed to be a measure for the school, my daughter (who is 14) uses the her targets and results to gauge her own progress year on year. We as parents also reward our children when they do well in their SATs.
BTW, is this the Formidable at SATs thread?
Forget about your SATs. Why waste your time? It doesn't mean anything for you, it doesn't hinder/help your progress in anything and everyone's forgotten about them after 5 minutes.
And on topic: I have some juniors...
