I wish he would have bee promoted in my squad, he could have been an awesome def trainee with his talent. Could have been a nt player in 2 seasons. He will make a pretty good def mid though.
2006-10-13 11:13:32
I have sent you details, not that either are anywhere close.

Just interested really.
2006-10-13 11:51:16
Seems impossible...
2006-10-13 12:44:38
i can promise you that it is 100% real. I have not trained tech at all this year and he has popped twice. Why would I lie?
2006-10-13 12:48:51
did he pop in the first week of training. and have you got a head coach with unearthly in tech?
2006-10-13 13:46:13
Yes. He popped in tech (random) and pm (trained) in his first week. My head coach has magical tech, unearthly passing and pm.
2006-10-13 14:38:56
Just that this seems so unbelievable :P
2006-10-13 19:14:53
i sure don't believe it :P
2006-10-14 01:00:07
me neither, it just doesn't make sense.
2006-10-14 03:34:15
It doesnt make sense because you have never seen it before, doesnt mean it didnt happen. Hes my son and he has shown me the players training graphs and he is not lying.
2006-10-14 10:06:43
I believe him :)
2006-10-14 10:17:47
Still cant understand why 2 such respected members of Sokker would think that I am lying. What would I gain by doing this?
But I must admit that i remembered that I did 2 weeks passing training this season, thats when he popped in passing so its not a random, remembered this morning. But i can assure you that the tech randoms are 100% real.
2006-10-14 12:41:37
My guess is when he came from your junior squad, he was *incredibly* near to popping, so obviously popped the first week.

As he is a "straight line" talent at lower levels (ie can pop in consecutive weeks) and using redjims 8 weeks of general = 1 normal week of training, it is possible.

Not been fortunate enough to see for myself what the quickest a player can general training pop though.
2006-10-14 14:04:47
8 weeks of general = 1 normal week of training

yeh, but that doesn't explain how he can random pop twice... i know for a fact that its impossible to pop 1 FULL level in skill with 1 week training, especially at that age
2006-10-14 17:06:51
At that age?

Greg Kock (my Dannish midfielder), straight line popped in pace last season, aged 19.

Although I think you mean a full 1.0 skill increase rather than a 0.51 that takes them over the edge or similar?

I am pretty sure that you must have calculated something wrong when you claim that Frank Parrish has random popped twice in 8 weeks.

Apart from the fact that I believe that no player is that talented, I can say for absolutly certain that your player is NOT that talented.

If he was talented enough do a full random pop from weak to ave tech in 8 weeks, then he would also have been talented enough to have 6-8 pops in PM in those same eight weeks. He would definetly be popping every single week in PM at the lower levels, which he definetly didn't. He also would be talented enough to at least random pop once in striker.

Your player may still be fairly talented, but not as talented as you claim.
