Asunto: »[JNRS] Juniors - formidable +
Hmm... this is the best youth school I have ever seen.. and this although it is only 10 players strong o.O
Would mine be so good if I reduce to 10 players too? ^^

The reason it is so reduced is because I dont keep players that take over 5 weeks to pop, that way I know that any players I get from my junior school will be top quality. I dont mind only getting 2 or 3 a season as they will all be above excellent.
I have sold nearly £2.5m worth of former junior school players this season alone, so hopefully by the time the magicals arrive I will either have alot of money to spend, or a top class team that they can go into. I am hoping for either, or even both :)

it's a win-win though. If you get good pulls you either sell for loads, or sell a decent youth you already have and train a better one.

I keep ones that will be very good or higher OR have 5 weeks or less talent. You can sell the very good or higher ones, and either keep or sell the more talented ones if they fit in with your training regime. As you only have 10 spaces, you could have a few of these lesser talented, but still saleable ones and maybe make some cash that way, too. Is it 600 quid for a space? One space for 30 weeks then is 18k. You should get that for anyone over very good.
WOW!!!! there's some good youth's in there!!!! best i had is 1 incredible 1 outstanding 2 formidable and 1 excellent. i have very few youth's in as well, i chuck any below average and less than 12 weeks. and don't keep any that are more than 6 week poppers

You have to factor in coach cost rather than look at just the 18k, so really with coach it is about 36k (assuming another £600 a week per youth as a rough estimate).
If you look at it like that I am paying just over £2500 each week for each one of my juniors!!!! I guess thats alot then!!!!

I was assuming he would have a coach anyway. As such, keeping an extra person in there doesn't need to take the coach into account.

I got this guy on about the first week I played, and he made formidable +2, popping every 4ish weeks with a very good youth coach. Did he turn out good?

Nice def trainee.
May be worth your while selling now, depending on if you are training pace or def.

Good, I thought so, but I've never quite managed to get my head about what goes with what in this game. Am training pace atm* so I'll probably keep him
*that makes it sound like a concious decision, but really I set it like that a season ago cos I didn't know what the hell else to set it as :)

yea, keep him, if he pops every 4 weeks with very good coach, then he has really high talent and with some seasons training he will become a very good player :)
