He is nice ! slightly better than the outstanding defender i pulled last week !
2006-10-12 11:01:33
na they don't.
levels make no difference.
I got a incredible +0 today
he popped
4-5-5-4-5-4
switched to an incredible coach to get that last pop one week earlier.

that's very good news. thanks !

We seem to have had quite a few decent defenders from the youths this season.
2006-10-12 13:21:17
we do, time to ask people to post anything decent to a thread do you reckon ?
2006-10-12 13:22:03

Anyone else still drunk?

Glen Crean, age: 18
value: 39 000 £, wage: 585 £
club: mansfield magic, country: England
very good form

tragic stamina, tragic keeper
average pace, good defender
good technique, poor playmaker
good passing, unsatisfactory striker

any idea how much he'll fetch?

More than 1 pound is my guess.

otherwise i would have been interested...

He may be a defender, but I think I will train him to be a defensive midfielder. I train midfielders, and unless my training system changes, I will be ratating between Pace, Tech, PM and Passing for the next few seasons. With this kind of training, he should turn out to be a very useful Def Mid in a few seasons time, hopefully the NT def Mid?!

at my junior skool i have the most talented player i have ever had popping every 3 weeks and he is 27 weeks left and hes know on good, but i also have the most untalented player ever its been 7 weeks and still no pop :(
2006-10-12 18:08:59
7 weeks isn't untalented necessarily.

I've heard of players going well over 12 weeks without popping.
2006-10-12 18:10:47
Dont get too excited about the rate at which he is popping at the mo, he is still at the lower skill levels so will pop quicker, if he stays at 3 weeks per pop after v.goo onwards then break out the party. He will be a very nice player when he arrives though you lucky git :)
2006-10-12 18:11:02
I've got a guy who hasn't popped for the 11 weeks he's been in my junior squad.
2006-10-12 18:11:48
I don't think the junior level matters for speed. It goes the same speed no matter what.

So 3 weeks is worth getting excited about!
