How much can I ask for a formidable striker? 20 years old, but not really other good stats (good def and adequate pm)

Benton, Bright and Herbert should be at least formidable when they're ready. The rest of them will be either very good or excellent, with any luck.

I've been at 6 more trainee spaces than trianees since alast October, so have quite a long list, but it's a bit lacking in high levelllers..

John Armstrong is an utter dude though - he's just popped to formidable and pops every 3-4 weeks :)

Ooh, nice player. You must be looking at a good half a mill for him? Are you going to wait until the start of next season before you hold people to ransom for him?

i am oooh so tempted to switch to defense training at least till he pops to outstanding.
and there is the added bonus of people having more money at the start of the season as you say.

Little bit like Malone I bought from you not that long ago, without as much technique and pace. Should go for decent money.

now i actually have nothing much to look forward to, no highly talented youths racing through their pops :(

I can't say I've seen any mega striker YPs. They all seem to be defenders for some reason. At least 70-80% of my YPs have been defenders.

Maybe it's a combo thing - more combos lead to a potential useful defender???
